Thanks, your information is very valuable for first AC customer. But what are the charges they ask for installing the assesories we bought from market?
First of all just say that you have electric shop owned by family so why should we take the accessories from you at such a high cost.. and they will charge labour cost for getting it installed but you should try to bargain for that as much as possible..

How’s the quality of general’s copper pipe (inside box )?
Installation technician saying that it’s not good so he will provide me copper pipe (extra charges).
No never ever do that.. He is just selling you the product.. The quality of all companies is the best.. Let it be any company in the market.. They wont degrade the quality of pipe.. And never ever trust the technicians.. He is trapping you and might give you long bills

My ac technician charged me 500 rs for cleaning copper pipes i installed a year ago while house construction and he said he had to do that for cleaning it before connecting indoor to outdoor unit by that..so he cleaned it with nitrogen gas ...did he charge me ryt or over charge me and was it even required
Yes this was correct and it was good that he didnt over charge you on this.. But also we have to understand that there are certain things where we get scared and have to do such expenses like when the technician says that "agar clean nahi kia toh gas leak ho sakta hai etc,etc"... so these things are out of the scope of everyone to think and ultimately we think that 500 wont matter..and we expend...So sometimes some expenses are required at that moment to keep our gadgets safe..

Sir Aaj maine lg dual inverter 1.5 ac buy Kiya hai aur mere ek dost se installation karwane wala tha but shop owner ne kaha ki agar aap kisi bahar ke bande se ac installation karoge to aapki one year warranty nahi milegi aur koi bhi problem aayga to wo free mein repair nhi karenge

Bhaiya isme kaafi risk hai kyuki agar copper wire jodne ma jara si chuk ho gyi toh apka sara gas nikal sakta hai..aur copper wire me bhi kadi tarah ki thickness aati hai.. shayad aap jo laoge woh company ka banda mana kar sakta hai.. aap sirf use kahiye ki main bahar se leke aata hu agar ghar k paas hai.. upar se use thode paise de dijiye jaise 200 rupees toh bhi apko kaafi kam me padega.. par yeh installation sirf company ke bando se hi karwaye.. usse aap setting kar lijiye ho sake toh..

Sir IFB 1.5 Ton 2021 model 5star ya fir SAMSUNG 1.5 Ton 2021 model 5star ?

I checked out both the models and there are difference.. Check the ISEER Ratings the IFB has around 4.7 and Samsung has 5.20 so here there is difference between the power consumption... Secondly IFB gives 4 yrs warranty whereas Samsung gives you 5 yrs comprehensive warranty... Lastly Samsung gives you 5 in 1 Convertible mode which means you can use 1.5 Ton AC as 0.75 Tons also which reduces your bill drastically... Aur aap kuch bhi le sakte ho online ya offline itna difference nai milega apko.. But pls aapka decision jaldi lena zaruri hai as 10 to 13% tak sab ne price increase kar diye hai aur yeh impact filhaal Samsung me nai dikha hai aur jald hi Samsung bhi increase kar dega Covid aur lockdown ke chalte... I bought the same AC but the mistake is to not knowing about the 3 core wire he charges me 500 for 5 meters and 100 for drainage pipe. and also give stabilizer of vguard for 2000 and said that agar nahi lagaya tho PCB udhe jayegi

Yes of course you can but does it fall within your home.. As if its within the house the heat will come in.. So make sure that the unit is outside your home.. But yes you can place it just outside your room.. No need to place it at a long distance from the main unit..

I think that won't disturb you as your room would be fully packed...I hope the walls are not that thin that the noise would penetrate through it.. If not you can install it outside your room..But remember the technician will try to make you keep it at a long distance.. but you have to be clear..
Bhai maine daikin ka ac order keya hai. Mere father khud electrician hai. Kya mai wires, mcb, stand mai market se lakar deta hu to mechanic mna to nhi krega ki samaan usi se lena parega market se nhi? Copper pipe mere ko exta 3~4 meter legnge mai jaha install krnana chahta hu waha se outdoor tk.
Nahi bilkul nahi.. Aap bolo hamara family ka khud ka shop hai toh main kyu samaan lu aapse.. Aur aap lakar de dena usko.. But itna karna uske aane k pehle samaan ghar pe rakh do aap.. Neto woh log muh banate hai.. Unko bolna seedha complain kar denge apki company me.. Ho sake toh aap sirf copper wire technician se lena neto bolenge ki yeh wala nahi chalega.. Aapke ghar na reh jaye woh wire kyuki woh cut karke denge apko.. Isiliye.. Aur ek ek cm ka khayal rakhe end me jab woh measure karta hai.. Usi me jhol karte hai woh log.. Kabhi kabhi hame lagta hai ki kya itna chindi giri karneka par woh sab milakar 1000 ka chuna hame lag jata hai..

Yeh generally 700 to 800 per meter charge karte hai...aur company sab kuch include karke deti hai.. extra ki generally zarurat nahi padti agar distance kam ho indoor and outdoor ke beech.. toh aap try kijiye ki distance kam se kam ho..toh apka kharcha bach paye..aur installation k time uske samne hi rahe.. aap aur apke papa dono..

This depends on technician to technician some of them agree for settlement without billing the wire and that happens at times but if he prepares the bill he will be charging the GST as well...Try to convince him without bill if he agrees..

Nahi nahi bhai.. kis baat ki gas charging.. agar aisa charges koi mang raha hai toh direct complaint kijiye aap..gas company se full hokar aata hai

Are you talking about your home right and there is already a slot where the AC was used earlier.. Is my understanding correct?

But it should be heavy duty once.. I suppose you will still need an MCB as it carries heavy power and load carrying capacity... If you use other than MCB then possibility of dripping rises again and again.. But still you can ask the technician once before installation...

So that's a perfect plug... You can definitely use a split AC as I myself use the socket of window AC and its working all well.. No need to buy a MCB

I'll suggest initial installation aap company se karaiye.. agar electrician apke relation me hai toh hi aap risk le.. Bcz agar aap installation k liye naa bologe toh Box apko open karne padega and agar woh AC damaged nikla toh company woh damages apne upar nahi legi.. better hai aap installation k time smartly paise bacha lo par install company se hi karao...

you mean the outdoor unit right? Yes you can but make sure its protected and kept under shade if thats not possible you can use outdoor unit protector to keep the unit safe just check the link in the description...make sure that the technicians can reach for doing the routine service..and protect it from direct sunlight and rains of possible..
Can I buy copper tube from market if yes then what would be thickness and price and what kind of quality I should go for .
Ideally you can buy but rather than buying from market that would be cheap but there is a catch here.. The technicians might tell you that this wire cannot be used or even some other reason just to sell off their copper wire.. So i'll suggest you take copper wire from them but focus on reducing the distance between the indoor and outdoor unit.. That wil save you much of cost.. They will suggest you a bit more distance than usual.. There is also a risk that they might not install properly which results to gas leakage.. So keep these things in mind..

Just do 1 thing ask the price at the local shop and accordingly you can bargain.. But do bargain for sure..and try to complete the installation with the minimum distance so much cost will be saved.. And make sure you are present while the installation is being done..at times they bluff in wrong measurements and it leads to high installation cost.. Remember to bargain at the end so it won't impact your installation..

Also what I put my ODU at a feet away from wall on open roof? Will direct exposure to sunlight and rain and wheaten affects the performance?

Yes yes they will join the pipes by tape and that will go outside from your wall and you need not worry they will seal pack later on while going..

No bro don't go with Marq, in AC don't go with local brands.. We need to have something nice at international level as their products are efficient as any company can make the product but after 3 to 4 years the efficiency is tested..So Panasonic is the best and when I saw same model in Amazon, I can see a discount coupon of additional 2000 over and above the price and also card discount separate so I feel this is the best deal you can get in this price range. Dekho apka current AC tha uska drain pipe kaam Aa jayega na..Aur 3 core ka wire bhi usi se ho jayega provided apne sell kia aur woh leke nahi gaya..Sirf Yeh AC ka agar main apko bolu toh Samsung me 3 core wire nai tha aur 2 core k 2 wire lagta hai woh bhi muje lana pada.. Just do 1 thing.. U have 1 option.. Aap apne AC ka indoor and outdoor ka distance ekdum kam rakhiye.. Bhale technician bole ki PCB kharab hoga.. Sab ullu banake darayenge ki waha mat rakho.. Aap generally kuch kar nahi sakte kyuki aap agar bahar se laye toh woh bol sakta hai yeh nhi lagega.. Toh aap try kijiye usse bargain karneki.. Boliye on paper aap mat dikhao ki copper wire laga hai jyada aap personally rate boliye kitna lagega.. Toh ham apse kara lete hai. Isse dono ko fayda hoga.. Just try this once...
