A lot of bands have that "bassist or guitarist is the clean vocalist" schtick and more often than not the vocals are passable at best. But I saw these guys live this week and can confirm that the cleans are borderline perfect live. MUCH better than most in the same position. Very pleasantly surprised.
It's no"schtick".stupid word.. Bass players are born without testicals,,therefore making them the idea candidate to sing the high notes. Obviously ,you've never been in a band.
great band, and the studio engineer who mixed your studio album.tell him he is just the best fucking person that happen to this album.the quality is just topnotch!
This song absolutely rips, love the energy from the verses - like it's just one continual angry sprint, it's just explosive. I do think the cleans bring the overall track down though, much in the same way 'You Will Bring Me Down's chorus did in the Disturbia EP. It's just a bit generic, compared to how exciting everything else in the song is. Tracks like Kill All My Friends, Hole In Me and Spite show that this band doesn't need cleans. For me, it just undercuts that rawness that the screams bring out and really highlight this band as something special. Just my opinion, still beyond excited for this album.
John Liot man I haaaaate the clean chorus in you will bring me down. First song of theirs I ever heard and was loving it so but that chorus just wrecked me. I do like the clean chorus in ghost in the machine though
I actually like having them there as a relief sometimes, but I agree I feel like we get separate sounds and at first I was confused at the consistency but I feel like they will figure out a balance down the track, it's very linkin park-like so a bit more depth in the choruses would be heaps better

I agree. They're unique, but every song sounds the same besides a couple off of the album that comprises "Kill All My Friends". Like, they are good no doubt. It just doesn't make me want to listen to them album to album, because it all sounds so similar, vocal-wise :/
SH1TNAM3 by sounding the same. All these bands are imitators instead of innovators. Big wall of noise filled with breakdowns, synth keyboard, and one screaming dude who screams exactly like every other dude who also maybe sings with auto tune during the winey parts. Makes me really miss the mid 2000's metalcore. At least their music had decent catchy riffs... They didn't all sing/scream exactly the same...
Dude. I've been listening to this stuff since i was 12, now i am in my mid 20s. I'm too old to think on who did it first, who did it last, who did it better or who did it worse. The important thing is that i enjoy it. In this digital era is hard to come out with something different. This seems like an enjoyable tune, didn't like Babylon but this i enjoy. Anyway, if you want stuff that resembles mid 00s metalcore stuff check out the new Renounced album if you're into stuff like Misery Signals, 7 angels 7 plagues and Poison The Well. Cheers
@@ReprogrammedToHate Those bands are ok. What I am really looking for is something like All That Remains in their hayday. Still jam to the song Empty Inside on occasion. Just great emotion and catchy riffage. All this newer shit is lame as fuck.
yeah we get a guitar solo in here! hell yes! gettin' REAL stoked for these Void of Vision & Thornhill releases!!! 👊💥
This song is so under rated. 🔥

Diogo Netinho Northlane's new album ALiEn was good!!
@@thelastdaybreathinginetern1385 true, absolutely love it
Yeah its almost like they literally copied what northlane did, i wonder how they did it!
@@Banjo1578-n7k So every band who puts electronic in their sound is Northlane now? LOL this sounds nothing like Northlane.
their best song
This band has a lot of potential, they are fucking masters. 🙌🔥
Favourite song on the album, haunting, heavy and melodic.

And kamf?
Nope, not at all. They have made sooooo many better tracks, easily one of the weaker ones.
That whole album is such a step up honestly, damn good stuff

Banger after banger from these guys.
0:00 to 1:02 psyched me up so much that I (normally extremely shy) went to ask a girl out.

Void of Vision: SHUUU
HEAVY = GOOD
This riff has got a Thornhill vibe to it and I absolutely love it

This and Hole In Me sound like they should be on the Alien album from NL
Jon from Northlane helped produce the album, so that could explain it!
Oh yeah I didn't know that and yeah it would make sense. I still love the tracks nonetheless
No
love the bass lines
Jesus
Jacks vocals need to have more depth. The cleans are my favorite of the song.

I guess they can't all be masterpieces like "Kill all my friends."
lead role on the video = looks like bobby roode
the screamer = looks like baron corbin
the clean vocalist = looks like danny worsnop
wtf.
Sounds like an early Our Last Night!

yeah go say the same thing about rap or hip hop it all sounds the same its just what u enjoy numbnuts
Sounds just like Thornhill
Song is dope but wtf is up with the mastering. The vocals are so sunken. Instruments blend together
Compared to all the stuff they’ve done so far - sounds like a filler, pretty average tbh
