Jack has uninentionally created a bleak, soul crushing scenario with his dream festival. Imagine being the surviving members of that band and one of your best friends is back from the dead but all he knows is how to perform. A shell of himself that all you can do is watch and not talk or interact with. And then they're gone after a night
I met Jack when VoV played in Birmingham just over a week back. It was after the gig, me and one of my close mates were there and she was doing photography for the gig, Jack came down and started to talk with some people who saw the gig, with a sore neck, butchered throat, me and my mate go up to him, I couldn't get my words out for a whole bunch of reasons, one of them being just awestruck with this individual, who's onstage energy and vocal talent knew no bounds in the best way possible plus he was so kind and friendly, after getting out some clichéd fan bullshit from my part, I had a couple of photos with Jack... LITERALLY one of the best gig nights I ever went to
bro i know exactly what you mean i met this lad back in 2019 in wiesbaden and bought some merch from him and he was so nice while i was choking on my own words haha
My favourite band, met him a few weeks back at a gig and was physically shaking I was so nervous and he made me feel so calm and chill, such a top guy!
Quality is bananas, props for continually working at boosting the production - hiring an editor will be the final component to becoming a full fledged "pro podcaster" . Inquiring minds want to know (aka me, photo nerd)... what cameras/lenses are you using?
nice. some fine guests there recently. would also love for those in downbeat: - rout reynolds (or basically any shikari person) - oli sykes cheers mate
Craig, well done on the Chronic(Les) vinyl pressing for the VoV boys, it looks fkn siiiick. The amount of Aussie references you had crammed into the artwork is impressive 👌 Love your laconic, dry wit mate, don't change that charm 😉
Cracker Aussie band! First saw VoV back in 2015 at a tiny venue in Sydney. Jack and the boys were so chill and great to chat with at the merch table. I still have some merch from that night!
Coming back to this interview to say I was lucky enough to see them live in Orlando, FL a few days ago with Invent Animate and they blew me away. Sounded insanely good and they performed their asses off. Probably one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. 😮💨🤌
Great episode, thank you Craig😊 🖤 It is super valid to tell the experience one had with the negative side effects of the vaccines. Deniers definitely poisoned the well, but I believe if we listen to each other we can detect people arguing in bad faith. I had 4 doses of the Covid vaccine without any negative side effects, but this does not mean no one had a bad experience. On the internet being charitable is super important!
Frank Iero? I would LOVE that, but still.. Not mentioning MCR? Thats kidna weird, like why.. I mean Frank is a really Kind and open person and sure he'd probably love to talk about LS Dunes, but not talking about MCR who are like the biggest Emo/Not-Emo/Alternative Band from the 2000's??? Thats pretty stupid lmao Besides that, Frank is one of my fav people in the world and actually one of my inspirations growing up. I'd have loved that

Such a soft spoken, wholesome guy… then he gets on stage and it’s a WHOLE new story. Love him.

Met Jack last year when they were touring with ABR. Such an awesome dude to talk to, can’t wait to get VoV back in the states.
Met Jack a few times now, such a cool down to earth guy. Happy to stick around after a show to have a chat, solid dude!
My favourite band, met him a few weeks back at a gig and was physically shaking I was so nervous and he made me feel so calm and chill, such a top guy!

Another sick podcast, Craig. Bought the vinyl.
I hope you've listened to Burial since the Northlane podcast.
Jack is such a sweet guy
I laughed so much at the VB part hahahha!
I'm halfway through, hoping/waiting to hear Creg share his views with VoV having all bass guitar parts on track....
