  • In the past, what's been the age difference between you and people you've dated? I'm going to interview Japanese women about what age difference they feel is okay, and whether they like older or younger guys. Let's get to the interviews.

    Dating older men doesn't mean they are matured enough to handle a relationship. I dated a man 12 years age gap but I discovered he followed so many single mom and followed sexy girls in bikini on instagram and other dating apps, my mistake was waited for him to change for 3 years. We only talk once in a month or sometimes several months passed, we dated once in a month too. You cannot change a man. He will change for the person that he truly love. After that, I met my special partner 2 years younger than me, we avoid fighting and arguing, we support each other always. Now going 4 years happily and strong 😊

    I met this girl Yuriko, she got married in Japan then moved to Vancouver alone to study English for a few months.
    When she came back, her husband had become addicted to gambling.
    She contemplated her choices, and decided not to help him rehab, not to help him thorough the recovery journey, no, she just up and left for Vancouver again.

    When I was in Japan, I dated a woman four yrs older than me. I was in my late 20's and she was in her 30's. But I was always the one to lead.
    Not that I wanted to, its just that she was always shy. So sometimes I would get her to choose a restaurant or place of interest.
    These things help build confidence in a person. They say, a relationship is to help each other grow. And to learn from one another.

    I'm a 40-year-old white guy living in Tokyo, and while most of the women I meet are around my age or older, I recently met an 18-year-old girl and went on a date with her. We saw a movie, went to dinner, then bowling, and afterwards I asked if she wanted to go to my place because it was only one stop away, and she agreed. She stayed at my place for almost 24 hours and we had fun. We met again a few weeks ago and went to Disneyland and were holding hands, cuddling, she would rest her head on my chest and shoulders, etc., so it was like gf/bf, but afterwards she wouldn't come back to my place because she said she had plans the next day. Anyways, she said in Japanese to "let her stay at my place again," to which I said "Anytime is good, like tonight, tomorrow, then next day, etc.," with a tongue-sticking-out smiley face, and I was subsequently left on "read" after that. I messaged her again two weeks later after no reply, and she replied the next day, but hasn't read or responded to my message in 4 days, so I guess she just isn't interested anymore. Not sure why though since Disneyland was fun and seemed like it was a good time for her as well. It's sad, and I can't stop thinking about her, but maybe she just found someone younger or more attractive or whatever. Or maybe she was just curious what being with a foreigner was like and decided it was not for her. Who knows. Point is, even older men can still date with younger women, though it's probably not super common as that was the first time I had been with someone that young before. I guess I just got lucky.

      @@bloodyangel1 I am not speaking for anyone, I am not a woman nor a spokesperson for women, I simply said what I assume could've happened according to your comment, which I draw from my own experiences and accounts of others.
      When you are readily available and offer yourself to someone like that then that someone will not have you in high regard. You won't be exciting, you won't be interesting, you basically make yourself their pet.
      Even if you are excited, even if you wanna spend every day with that person, keep yourself in check and play it cool, let things come to you. That doesn't mean you should play "hard to get", it simply means that being overeager can ruin things very quickly.

      @bloodyangel1 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MrReese hmm, I see. I'm sure there's truth to that, though I don't know if it's the same reason that the girl in my comment is ignoring me or not. She hasn't read my last message in almost a week despite being active on the app that we met on (HelloTalk), and posts on there as well. So I won't pursue her anymore, but I also don't think she will message me anymore either, so I will just sadly give up and move on as there's probably nothing more I can do to salvage the relationship.
