- One of the most anticipated follow-up shoes in 2023 was the Novablast 4, ASICS sequel to the heavily favored daily trainer of 2022. The latest iteration sees ASICS doubling down on comfort and compatibility, and for the most part, it works.
While I was not able to personally put the Novablast 4 through the paces like I would typically get to, I did enjoy what miles I could log, including a snowy 10 mile run, slip free. These are my thoughts on the ASICS Novablast 4.

Keep looking forward, Chris! Due to an injury, I was unable to run for two months last year. But with time, low-impact exercises, and working with a trainer (with a medical background) who zeroed in on my injury and prescribed healing exercises, I finally recovered and could run again. I know it's tough. But when you get back out there, you will have an even deeper appreciation for running than you had before. Thanks for the video and the review!
Thank you!
Chin up mate. Things will get better. Thanks for the content.
So sorry to hear about the health update, I know how frustrating that is. Wishing you a smooth road to recovery, though i wish i had more insight on sciatic nerve pain. Love the content, but if you need to take a break from TH-cam we'll be here when you're back
Thanks for the video
Great reviews
I use the NB 4 for my easy miles ( I find the nimbus too squishy) and as a superblast “ saver “
Hope the leg feels better asap !
Had a couple lower extremity injuries last year - physio - specially physio who treats runners has been key
Took a while but it finally turned around !
Take the time you need !
I’m new to your channel and I’m a slower runner so even slower mile info helps me
Hoping your leg gets sorted soon.
Are you able to do any weightlifting? I know it's not the same, but I'm a weightlifter breaking into becoming a hybrid athlete so I've started running and I'm fascinated by it. Don't know if you'd feel the same way about weightlifting, if you're able to do it.
Hey there! Yes, I try to work in some basic weight training a couple times a week. Clearly not enough 🤡
