I know I'm not the only one who LOVES natural Tanzanite over blue/purple ones. Don't get me wrong, Tanzanite is my favorite of all the gemstones in the world and it's AMAZING in any color.

Normally, Tanzanite stones are blue, indigo, and violet.

Martin Moore Not always, which is what Steve is showing you here. These have all come out of the ground their Natural Colours just like not all Diamonds are clear and can be called 'Fancy' which these Zoisites are or Tanzanite if you prefer this name. To obtain that Violet/Blue colour most Tanzanites need to be heated. Steve knows Tanzanites inside and out whilst being the most experienced person I know about them. You can learn much from him about this glorious gem and many more at moregems.com.
