    This is a cool trick to know! And those knives Rock! I would love the SCHF37 because of its size! Paired with a smaller knife this is a great combo for any bushcraft or camping kit! I like the size of the 37 and the finger chole which does allow for more control!

    thank you for the chance, I would love the SCHF38, it is a perfect size to carry EDC attached to the side bag of my wheelchair, and would be great for the days when my youngest son and I go to the woods to relax. it is a perfect balance between big enough to get the jobs done, but small enough to carry easily.

I keep hooks in my bug out bag but if for some reason I dont have them I believe I can make this gordge after watching the video. Thanks for the lesson. Now I love all the knives featured but if I had to choose only one, it would be the SCHF37, simply because I like the blade design and size. btw I love those knives!, I still need a fixed blade survival knife that is a little more robust then my mora, so winning one of these (like the schf37 the most ;) ) would be great! got the fish for a lifetime, now the knife for a lifetime ;-) I would use it quit a bit but I promise to maintain it as good as possible :)

    Great realistic tip about packing a small fishing kit. I like the yo-yo or using a military hammock as a net - I think that there will be more than enough other work to do than to sit and fish all day. Entering the contest - please realize that I already have and SCHF-37, an SCHF37M, an SCHF36 and an SCHF42 - so, the SCHF 38 would be the only possible addition to the stable although I really wouldn't mind having a 36 for my wife.

    The guys on Alone need this tip. Especially with the primitive string part.

    • @dofishbuster
      @dofishbuster 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dean Logan Knowing a couple of the guys on that show they already know this. In fact one of them can and does make primitive cordage like he was born to it. Of course that does not mean that if they had a choice more modern things would not be a preference.

    • @DeanLogan
      @DeanLogan 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      dofishbuster I know the "producers" like to edit out the boring parts. The guys who were on there most likely didn't get a favorable light. But, I do like the idea. The original Survivor should have been like Alone. Last one out, is the winner.

    Im not sure if I prefer the belly of the 36 or the length of the 37, but both are beauties! I need a decent workhorse knife for bushcraft, I think I favour the 37 but would be more than happy to win either of them! :)
