You made note of the HPI Baja 5B coming back (gas and electric self-build kit versions). That is what I'm most excited about. The Baja 5B Flux is the one 1/5 scale that I own and have put a lot into, so it will be nice to have genuine HPI parts support available for it again. It will also be cool to see current high definition, stabilized video of it running alongside 4WD Losi DBXL-E and ARRMA 8S rigs. When it came out originally, I don't think the market was really ready for 1/5 8S RCs with lower battery capacities, and less choices for high power electronics, motors, and chargers. That has all changed in recent years.
Yep, have a couple of Savage XS’s, I really like them but the lack of support got me worried for a bit but I’m glad HPI is coming back and support is pretty much back on point. I wanted a Arrma Typhon for a long time but a store in the Netherlands have a sale on new HPI’s, including a old style Vorza with the high specs for around 500 so pretty much the same price and the HPI is way tougher build and pretty much a competition car.
Could someone please tell me what wheels/tyres these are. The tyres on my Vorza S are starting to get low so I've been looking for alternatives and these look awesome!!! Hopefully they're belted :)
Really like hpi but don't see anything that would sway me away from Arrma in these. The new savage trucks seem to be extremely expensive as well.
