    I think one of the most underrated techniques is using the ronin for pans and tilts. before I had a nice fluid head I would just mount the ronin and away it went. the motors are smooth enough that the starts and stops arent too jittery at all. I wish they would let us dial in ease ins/out speed. ive even used it to do motion control programming waypoints. also have a pretty long slider and will mount the ronin on it so I can have a push in while doing pan tilts.

    Yet another really great video from you. Thank you so much. I noticed that you have the Zeapon motorized slider. I looked at it about a year ago and the iFootage Shark Slider Nano. How do you like it? I was not sure if the investment would be worth it, since it is not that long for a slider.

    • @SamHolland
      @SamHolland  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Thank you 🙏🏻 I’m pleased you like the videos.
      I really like the Zeapon slider. There’s a new version now but I haven’t managed to get hold of it yet as there’s been a problem with shipping dates.
      I think you can get longer versions. The only thing that bothers me about the motorised sliders is they’re very slow. Sometimes I want faster movement.
      I also have a video on the GVM slider which I’ve always enjoyed. Hope this helps 🎥

      @@SamHolland Thank you so much for always taking time to answer. It does help. I did some reach and the new micro 3 slide looks awesome (and pricy). I and however really debate to length is the best. AND I know there really is no right answer to that, because "it depends" ;) I am debating between the 59 and the 77. It is nice to have the opportunity to use the full length but I really like to be mobil with my gear and maybe 59cm is good enough for most shoots?
