Singer, songwriter, musician and luthier! You, my friend, are a true renaissance man! 👍
You are the first luthier that demonstrated the stewmac router with the edge attachment..wonderful and thanks
Wow that's gonna be a real looker, Jerry. Thankyou for your trouble and kindness.☺
I Love it
You are an INCREDIBLY TALENTED man, Jerry! Enjoy the videos and like other's, I don't understand the "yahoo's" that give you a thumbs down? I can only chock it up to the fallacy of mankind, jealousy. Thank you.
Jerry a real enjoyable video. The comfort armrest is beautifully done. Your confidence going forward of having an attitude that "you'll figure it out " is inspiring. Super, thank you.
You mighty brave routing binding channel by hand!
I was relieved to see that you were able to cut those lines "without screwing up something else". 😂
Great work Jerry!
"three quarters of a millimeter" cracks me up!
Well I generally measure everything in thousands. One one thousandth of an inch is 1/40 of a millimeter. That's the Precision I work too
I work in an industry where we mix imperial units and metric units on the same project. So, mixing fractions with metric units is perfectly understandable.
Wow! When the music plays you work at super speed. I wish I could duplicate that in my workshop :)
Beautiful binding. I love that insert at the bottom.
WOW!!! Someone is going to be super happy with this guitar. Can't wait for the next installment.
Jerry, I always enjoy your videos! God bless you!
The black was an excellent choice on that wedge shaped inlay, it really makes it look sharp.
It is astonishing to watch you do that. It's also worth saying that I am so grateful that you talk through your decision making processes - it adds a lot to my comprehension as well as my enjoyment of your videos
I found myself holding my breath when you free hand routed that area by the armrest... Wow, it came out perfect. Can I breath now!!
very nice work once again Jerry ,really enjoyed the song as well had to listen again "Bringing Mary Home " Great song !!!
Can't wait to see the finished instrument. Keep up the good work. Greetings from mm land.
i can safely say when god was giving out hands he put you at the top of the list.amazing workmanship.its raining plenty here in Ireland so spend my day watching this guitar build Genius for sure and a pretty good singer.
Stunning piece of work. Thanks Jerry.
I am so hooked on this build that I might need a twelve step program to get unhooked. Also, I might have to pay someone to walk the dog.
Thank you my friend.
Great job as usual. I really like the bottom end treatment you came up with. This one is definitely not a cookie cutter guitar.
That's certainly turning out to be a work of art. Looks fantastic. Can't wait to see the finished guitar and hear it sing!
Very nice ,I like the end piece ,white, black ,white ,perfect,,
Excellent work there Jerry.
Refined work. Remarkable Jerry 👍. Nice to watch and learn how a great guitar's inside is built. 🎶🎶🎶
Your decisions on the trim has sold me on hitting subscribe You are awesome Jerry
looking good. I can't wait to see the finish product. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful !! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
And that is how you give a master class in hand made guitar body craftsmanship
Great work. The end graft is classy!
Guitar is coming along great Jerry. Your freehand routing never ceases to impress.
Fantastic craftsmanship, Jerry!
You have a really good eye for detail and the patience of a saint.
Can't wait for the next instalment.
Two things Jerry: the guitar body is great, looking forward to the next episode, and the second point, the video sound volume balance was spot on, on this video, between your voice and your great music !!!
Love your work Jerry 👍👍
Really enjoying the build; the music is awesome!!
MY own guitar built by Bill Herringe in Australia has exactly this combination, white, herringbone, maple. Has lasted 30 years still look so good.
Very cool.... Love it, can't wait for the next vid...
It's turning out beautiful!
Putting all the binding on the guitar you made it look real easy, but I wouldn't want to try it, LOOKS REAL NICE & PUT ON BY A EXPERT!
there should be a place for three thumbs up Great Work
That's going to be one beautiful guitar. Can't wait to see the next video. I really hope your customer appreciates all your good work.
Just watched the Nashville nummering class liked it , thank you
Verrry nice, Jerry. Touching an instrument body with a router always has me sweating. This is going to be a beautiful guitar.
Just want to thank you sir. I do a little guitar repair but am nowhere near your level. I've learned much from watching you work but I think more importantly, you've motivated me to try harder and do better. You never seem to settle for it'll do or it'll work. You aim for perfect or as near perfect that can reasonably expected as your customer's budget will allow. Am I correct in assuming many hours of shop time never gets billed because your desire to do the best is greater than the customers bank account? May your God bless you and those you love.
...the two black strips on the tailpiece was definitely the right call, really sharp!
So beautiful!
Beyond cool, Jerry!
Great craftsmanship. You have a great feel for the soul of the wood that only comes from experience, and love of the craft.
Lookin' good!
Lovely Job on that binding Jerry, the whole body is looking awesome and can't wait to see it all finished, you are a true craftsmen, Cheers my friend.

That bottom inlay is incredible
As me old pappy would say. Thats one mighty fine looking geeetar !!
Thank you Jerry for taking us along in the creative process. I love your work and am always looking forward to your new videos.
Beautiful - so creative - great stuff Jerry!
Fascinating.
beautiful work Jerry. As always a real pleasure to watch .
You are a master, Jerry!
Ive heard a story like that song before. Ol' Mary was a Haint. She was deader than a doorbell. 😂
Good video Mr. Jerry!
Thanks for putting the millimetre sizes in your videos, like many of your viewers not from the USA I struggle to understand measurements described inches and thousandths of inches. The inclusion of the metric system for your videos is very helpful and considerate.
Hi, try this link to a free mm to inch converter. www.rapidtables.com/convert/length/mm-to-inch.html
I use it all the time, as so many other sites vary between measurement systems.
Paper Sphere I’m from England I fully understand imperial and prefer it to metric .
She's looking sweet,Jerry nice touch with the binding and the arm rest!Cheers
I love installing binding, and from the looks of you do too. Beautiful job, my friend!
looks beautiful. i dont think ive told you this but i think you are youtube gold.
Patience and perseverance are two of my prized traits, but you are saintly compared to me, and anyone I know or admire in that dept. Wonderful result and a 'life-lesson' to witness. Thanks for the turorial.
Double thumbs up Jerry! I can hardly wait for the next video on this guitar.
Mr Rosa you just keep pouring out your incredible craftsmanship The colours of the timbers chosen are my favourite and I can't wait to see the finish but hope you do the neck first
Dang it Jerry! I am supposed to be doing work but here I am being distracted by another awesome video of yours!!!! Awesome work man!! Can't wait to hear what she sounds like. Its really rewarding to see that there are still hard working creative dedicated craftsmen like you around. Thanks again. Awesome video. Take care :)
Very nice work can't wait to see the finale. I enjoy watching your videos.
Another fantastic video Jerry! Wish I could afford one of your creations. Just LOVE them! I would have loved to see what a walnut strip would have looked like on the tailpiece, but what you have is FABULOUS!!! Keep the great videos coming!
Awesome video on binding, in every fashion. But I must admit as many others has mentioned, it is scary to watch free hand routing.
Millimeter salute from Norway.
Nice job!
Man alive that is going to be a Purdy guitar! Bet it sounds as good as it looks!
No man, it's going to be a Rosa guitar! Purdy makes his own guitars!
You sure are getting your money's worth with the finger plane! Looks like the "jack of all tools". Got a good laugh at: "here goes nothing on an empty stomach".... never heard that one before. Contrats on the binding job, it looks great!
BEAUTIFULLY DONE, JERRY!
Hey Jerry fill that spot with black. great vedio.
Nice! Enjoyed the original tunes also.
Great work Jerry. I absolutely loved the song about Mary. Your skill always leaves me gobsmacked how in a lifetime have you amassed such skills ? it dumbfounds me, I thoroughly enjoyed this video and the music is so good, Thank you my friend for all your hard work and the time you give to produce such interesting videos. Love and Peace from Bonny Scotland.
Thank you my friend.
It's looking very very nice. Talk about attention to detail. Love watching your build videos. Came across your channel a little while back through Randy. Looking forward to your next video. Thank You.
That is one beautiful looking box. Watching this has gotten me super itching to get back to building, great stuff.
Great Job Doc!! Really like the look of this build and anxiously await the completion. Love all the music on this post, your a very talented, multi level craftsman!! Thanks!
Great work. I look forward to all your videos.I can't wait to watch the neck being made. Looks terrific!!!
thank you Jerry
Really enjoyed the vid, cheers.
Golly...Jerry!!! You had me holding my breath throughout this whole video! Beautiful binding combinations. Excellent work...as usual!
That guitar is coming along nicely!
Yes! Great series Jerry!
I usually install the end graft before doing the binding...it eliminates the reverse complications of doing it after the binding Looking Good!!
It becomes self clamping that way too.
Precision work my friend! It's looking really nice!
Looks awesome. The tail part did give it a beautiful touch or look. The binding is also great. The arm cut off part looks beautiful with the binding. It all blended really good giving it a unique look. Just perfect Jerry.
I know the Current River at the mouth of Blue Spring, that you mention in Grandpa's Old Fiddle! I lived on the Current River Conservation Area near Ellington for two winters doing forestry research. It's a real special place. I loved floating that river. Bought my first mandolin there too, for $30 and a couple of nice antler sheds. Thanks for the memories (and the lutherie lessons)!
Very nice. I love the back binding. Wish you would share more info on the musicians on the songs. Being a Missouri boy myself and a bluegrasser I might know some of them folks
The "V" shape motif on the end is cool cause it echos the binding on the back where the pieces come together. Nice choice.
Amazing guitar so far. Love the Herringbone purfling
Amazing, detailed and skilled work as ever, cannot wait to see the neck make and eventually hear the finished guitar. Truly inspiring and highly addictive Jerry! All the best as ever from Blighty.
I LOVE the little detail in the tail. It's the little details that are the best. Appreciate your work. It inspires me. I've been rebuilding guitars with my kids. Gonna try some of these techniques on the next one.
Lovely work.
I love watching skilled people making instruments - specially acoustic guitars, since it's what I play - but the more I watch, the less I think I myself would be cut out for the job.
The amount of time and effort into the little decorative details after doing all that work on getting the body just right and functional... it's just not for me.
But I do admire you master luthiers, that's for sure!
At the 21:00 mark, you said you were dreading the binding because it's real wood, and I thought, "Dreadnaught, Jerry...dreadnaught..." I'll show myself out.
