Lovely video! Did you get the chance to visit some of the historical house neighborhoods, like Dorobanti, Cotroceni and Aviatorilor? So much beautiful architecture and cozy coffee shops on those lovely streets. I highly recommend Bordei park as well.
The statue of the 'Lupoaica'= feminin from 'lup' is to be found everywhere in Romania. It remainds us that our roots are in Rome. The romance language, the culture, the people.
@@RoamingMario It's even in our national anthem "Că-n aste mâni mai curge un sânge de roman" translated roughly to "In this hands the roman blood is still flowing " so yeah we're literally your brothers from another mother(not really 😂😂😂) , like it or not 😉. And we know them as Romulus & Remus. We indeed speak a Daco-Roman language (modern Romanian has also slavic influences) , there are many other flavours but this is the most wide spread, as for the hypothesis that we are direct descendants of the Roman Empire this is most likely not true , but it's easy to speculate as there's not much historical evidence that support this hypothesis , what's real is the fact that ancient Dacians , our true ancestors, were hugely influenced by the Roman legions ( Legio IV Flavia Felix & XIII Gemina) and settlers during the Roman occupation 108-270AD but that's about it most probably (and Rome didn't manage to occupy he whole territory that is modern day Romania, for example Moldavians and northern Transylvania and parts of northern Dobrogea didn't even know how a roman looked like most probably .

You know, the word 'biserică' is inherited from latin 'basilica', the 'ce' from banca centrală' is pronounced just as in italian.also the other groups'ci', 'gi', 'ge' 'che', 'chi', 'ghe', 'ghi'. So all thise gropus are prononced just as in italian.
That church vis-a-vis of CEC is named Biserica Zlătari . The beautiful church was made by gypsies 😊. It's not a joke. In every church you are allowed anytime.
at site "Creștin Ortodox" is whrite this about Biserica Zlătari:"La chiesa fu costruita inizialmente, probabilmente in legno, intorno alla metà del XVII secolo, dice la leggenda, durante il regno di Matei Basarab, da alcuni "orafi", "orafi o argentieri", provenienti dalla baraccopoli "popii Manta", sul sito Orafi di Sarindar, donato a Elena, figlia di Radu Voda Serban e madre dei Cantacuzin di Muntenia." 😊 PS I tried to translate în italian language with google.
But what do you expect to be ... in the wild country??? Well, the Romanian nation is over 3000 years old, it was the ancient kingdom of Dacia. We are older than you who are surprised. Heaven is in Romania.
Older than me for sure, Maria. Older than where I was born or where I grew up, I am not sure 😊 my surprise is all about the beauty of this City/Country 💯
