Thick ciorba soups of many different kinds, the meat with smoked bacon cabbage rolls, smoked and roasted garlic pork cooked in pork lard, sausages, a beans and smoked pork dish, smoked fish, beef or lamb stews cooked in wine, and so on... Some of these foods are greasy but delicious and go well with the winter cold.

So the food looks good, but this is sad, because Romania is an Orthodox Christian country, and we are fasting (vegan) 40 days before Christmas. Only on the 25'th of December , after the birth of the Lord Christ, we eat all these goodies. Kind regards and merry Christmas.
Rubish. You will nkt see cross contamination. Everything is fully cooked and checked properly by authorithies. Every meal has one tool and sausages and already prepared naturally smoked, you can eat them if you call them raw. . They just fry them for a better flavour. Also meat is pastrami that is almost prepared aged marinated meat. It is also winter conditions of climate is favourable to thia kind of food manipulation. You never experienced this kind of food because your food culture and traditions are different and definetly not like this prepared.
Yes they do, and most people fast vegan for 40 days before Christmas, and 43 days before Easter, + a few shorter periods. Every year. This gigantic street food market is a mistake in my humble view, unless, of course, they bring it home and save it. I doubt that, though. Kind regards.

@@dancoman1798corect, ma refeream la cârnați, mezeluri, piftie.... Și eu mănânc usturoi că miros două zile după, ceapă îmi cam distruge papilele dar cu usturoiul sunt f prieten. Doar că mâncăm mulți căței și am aflat că strivit și lăsat 15min activează alicina așa că m-am sucit pe mujdei....

Some nice dishes but nothing exciting! Looks more like Hungarian/German style food! Where are the Romanian meatballs & mamliga???
You could see some cabbage rolls but anyway the tastes are different. We use a lot of garlic for example.
