This is the most spectacular documentation I have ever seen for the stretch between Fort Mason and Fort Point. I am doing research on the steel arch over Fort Point, which by itself is quite an impressive engineering project. Thank you for your professionalism and generosity.
Just watched a great b&w film made in 1950 ' The man who cheated himself' Detective murder mystery, great film,in the end, they ended up here,at point fort. It pleases me that this site still exists. Thanks for this video!
JUN 16TH '86 WAS THE 1ST AND ONLY TIME I WENT TO SEE "VERTIGO POINT". That was my 1st full day evvehh in SF, having arrived the nite bef on a Delta Tristar flite thru DFW. B U T : DIDN T SEE A BLONDE FLOATING UNDERNEATH IN THE DRINK. . . WUZ 27 YRS 2 LATE 4 THAT - what a disappointment ! ....Still a religious kinda xperience 4 a SERIOUS movie fan ...& I bet I m not the only one ....2 bad "Vertigo" hasn t lasted, but has become heavily outdated in its approach to male-gaze/female adoration "dilemma". The visuals and the period-feel still EVOKES, but the storyline is definitively passe ...Still "a classic" - but (TTTT ?) ... ... ...the lesson learnt : the only thing that is permanent is change .......= I CHING ......Anybody having had sth similar w the loc ,plz let me/us know ...I came from afar to see this coordinate, greetings from Suomi (=FIN) ...Maybe once again still, I m getting grey temples by now ...."Heaven knows, Mr Allison" .....
