He played for two seasons there. He scored 19 goals during the 2007/08 season and scored 15 goals during his 2008/09, last season at United.
He currently plays for Boca Juniors in Argentina.

His partnership with Rooney was amazing, they were both so aggresive in their playstyle! They ran their socks off every match which allowed us to press and win the ball high up in the pitch so many times. Also when the oppsotion had the ball, they ran all the way down to help defending. Rooney - Tevez is one of the best striker partnerships United ever have had. The workethic off these two was out of this world.

Tevez said Fergusson told him he was gonna buy him at the end of the season in which he had made him a sub and Berbatov play most games, but by then Tevez was angry at Fergusson for not playing and so he declined and went to the M City

He was not in his prime back then and joined City our rivals. Didn't fit into our playstyle or Ferguson didn't know how to use him. This system only worked for a short period of time. He got way more than a fair amount of tries (over 50 matches played) in 2008/2009 and before that in season (2007/2008) almost 50 games played as well and failed to impress. For me he's just a traitor to the club. Very selfish personality and celebrated like crazy whenever he scored against us. Not to mention he looks like some ugly disfigured rat or a monkey on the pitch. He was even offered a very good contract to stay at Man Utd but he rejected it out of spite. Berbatov was treated very unfairly constantly at Man Utd by his teammates, coach, fans and staff but he never gave up or surrendered. Instead he was just honored to be a part of the Red Devils. The difference in attitude towards life goals is light years ahead. Tevez was just jealous and angry that someone better than him was playing in the team. It was obvious. Tevez just turned out to be an asshole. I'm surprised he never got a red card on the field knowing his wild and erratic behavior. He lacked in talent and was super aggressive which is not something I admire.
Berbatov was creating chances and had the most assists (he was more of an attacking midfielder with his playmaking skills than a striker something Ferguson failed to understand even after seeing him play for Tottenham) in the Premier League in his first season in the red shirt. Tevez just ran like a headless chicken all the time and thought that work rate was the only thing that mattered in football. Well he's wrong there's other aspects to it than just that. Being a workhorse is only going to get you this far. Nistelrooy was better than him, Rooney was better than him and Berbatov was better than him. Tevez was just a failure and a mistake other than scoring a few nice and lucky goals. He had good finishing and power in his shots but that were his only qualities in soccer other than running, running and more running with no end goal or aim in mind. No skills, no strength, no technique, no flair, no personality, no creativity, no composure and no dribbling abilities. Just your mindless and braindead run until you gas out type of weak cavemen mentality. He was one of the most frustrating and annoying players ever to have. Total morale breaker.
Wasnt Ferguson s mistake. If i remember Tevez wasnt guaranteed first team football and City offered that on top of more money; that was why Tevez wanted to leave. I dont blame him. I think even Ferguson said something like he was very similar to Rooney but he was not better than Rooney, so it was better to let him go when he wanted to leave

You can call me crazy but back then I saw Tevez in a higher level than Lionel Messi. For me he had variety, something Messi kinda lacks, he had dribbling, probably not faster or cleaner than Messi but very competent, great power and accuracy and could also header. Plus he was savage and strong to carry, I never understood why they couldn't make it work for argentina in 2010. They made Messi the center of everything rather than playing to their strengths as a team, they could have done a lot better
