Looks to be a nice addition to the Caravan models... The name, however, is a bit cheesy. Seems like they could have found something that didn't sound like a menu option at Hooters. :)
hey, can anybody tell me what flight instrument that was at 1:45, ive never seen that instrument in any plane before. atleast not the ones if flown! (the red/yellow/green lit bars)
That is probably an proprietary ANGLE OF ATTACK indicator. It provides information regarding pending stall. It is more accurate for stall warning at very low airspeed where airspeed indicators tend to be inaccurate.
((yawn)) Get to the point people. Stop saying "1/2 the distance of a stock caravan" and just give us the numbers! ... also give us the expected retail price of the conversion! So basically, I can fly slower with this kit. I don't want to fly slower- I want to climb a lot faster, and cruise much quicker on considerably less fuel! How does this kit affect cruise, etc.?
"Hot Wings".....what an incredibly stupid name for a modification that greatly effects the safety of an aircraft. The name does not create serious confidence.
I thought they were talking about heated leading edges…that would have been nice
Now this amazing plane (C208) has been taken to the next level. awesome product guys!
Fantastic ... Good Idea for modified it
Should have this for the 172/182 and Staionair!:)
But do the hot wings come with Ranch dressing?
@abhiginimav I think that is an angle of attack display. shows the planes angle of attack.

Wing-lets look funny on the high-wing/Caravan to me. Not sure if this Company still exists? Pretty effective looking though.
How did they put floats with the cargo pod the struts are in the way
did this ever become a thing?
Shame I can't find anything on this.
"Requires no change to caravan engine", yet every plane in this video has the Blackhawk engine conversion???
The Blackhawk engine is the same one Cessna itself now offers. It's just a 867 hp Pratt and Whitney.
Where can i but it folks......any web side or dealer

Oh ! I thought Hot wings would have ranch dipping sauce.
Stationair I meant. Sorry about that. Thanks.

WTF, its a Blackhawk engine conversion. compare to standard van
nope. See the square exhaust outlets. That's a Walter 601 or GE H75 / 85
