In this video, I have shared the graphic design questions of NID Dat Mdes 2024. Hope this will help.

What is NID?
National Institute of Design (NID) is internationally acclaimed as one of the finest educational and research institutions for Industrial, Communication, Textile, and IT Integrated (Experiential) Design.

सूत्रों के अनुसार (According to the sources) :
Product Design 2024 :
1. An orthographical view of a figure given we need to draw the front, side, top view
2. Screw driver and a Washroom cup were given we need to modify them so that we can't able to use it anyway
3. Stove lighter were given, draw it in 3D
4. a)one steel plate and a bowl
b) Clothing clip and some type plier
Make a product with this combination
5. Gas cylinder and a cylinder moving tool were given we need to modify the tool
6. Traditional tiffin carrier and a mud pot were given. Modify the tiffin carrier based on mud pot
7. 3 types of fork were given (plastic, steel, some fibre)
Write down the design criteria for designing it and it's Effectiveness.
8. You are not comfortable with your footwear.
Create a story with it and illustrate that story in 5 frames.

Universal design 2024 -
1 a. depict 5 post pandemic prequation need to take for natural calamities like flood, earthquake, fire etc(10mark)
b. Based on this make a emergency kit for disaster management(10mark)
2 a. write POV of your favourite product in a story.
b. Illustrate the POV of the product in 5 frames(10 marks)
3 a. bottle, a plate, a handwash bottle were given
And a) 6 year old kid
b) 75 year old women facing Parkinson
Taking any one product and modify the design for any one user.
b. Write down the key design changes you have made in the product.
4. A smartphone was given to elder who uses QWERTY phone, create a 7 frame contact number saving manual guide for elder with gestures, features etc based on your on interest with short description

Information Design 2024 -
1. Design an infographic for rural people on "Steps to Vote using EVM machine " in seven steps.
Steps were given.
2. Draw any two fruits and the cross-section
a.pomegranate
b.coconut
c.tamrind
d.custard apple
e.pineapple
3. a.Describe two problems/issues that a user face while ordering food from existing food app. Draw the scenario.
b. Design a new food app that will solve the issues .
4. Four logos were given with different design languages, choose any one of them and make new logos for
a.dslr camera
b.waste bin
c.cycle
d.printer

Graphic Design 2023 :
For the Nid prelims,
1. Imagine and design the new vehicle number plates for indian vehicles.
2. You need to aware people to vote. For that purpose various atm like devices are installed to aware people. You need to create images/infographics that would appear in the screen of these devices.
3. You are travelling from point A to point B by car, don't exactly remember what both the points were. You need to draw what you have seen throughout your journey.
Questions in the studio test (Graphic design 2023) -
1. Create 2 posters for Do's and Don'ts for the tourists who are coming to visit a particular national park. The dos and don'ts are mentioned in the paper. You will have to convert them into a poster.
2. You have given a set of Onomatopoeia (total 10 ig). You need to create a story board and use atleast (5) of these onomatopoeia.
3. You are given a comprehension from a book. You have to read it through and based on that create 3 compositions. Also you need to make a model of one of the compositions with the provided material

Is it important to have 60% in graduation to get into NID Mdes???

I hve done my graduation in bba...and now i want to switch to designing so could u plz tell is it okay to Direct do masters in designing..??...and i want to appear for the NID-DAT exam so could u suggest some online courses from where i can prepare for this exam..or should i apt for online coaching???...and i would like to add one more thing like as im kind of intrigued in art n all but i can't draw anything by imagining an object...as of now...i can copy and dtaw...so is it kind a drawback...i mean..will it crete a problem...as i currently don't know how to retain something in mind and then draw it out in a paper...plz tell what should i do...
