The pipes are not unhygienic its the minerals that gets settled in the pipe for many years

Yes but it forms a hard scale and will lead to rusting of the pipe leading to leakages that will waste water so there is a problem needed to be solved. Sewage treatment is very crucial as it could save many lives of people, now one can say it will affect thier employement but thier health is always at high risk
