How to change boot logo? Went to the spot it supposed to show but not there.. regardless I got that same device it fits really good and the mount looks built and sleek didn’t want double den too low for me . Worth the buy guys!

I wonder if this would look good in a g37 interior 🤔 the center screen is basically useless besides knowing the temperature of the climate….so basically all you did was connect it to power, connect the aux and then it’s just a wireless receiver? I think that suction cup would go good in the g37 center screen

What’s the name of the difference mount that you bought on Amazon because the one you have in the description doesn’t seem like it would fit in a 2004 g35 ??
The g35 doesn’t have Bluetooth? How’s you connect it to aux than?
yea they dont have bluetooth unfortunately, just bought a 07 g35 and it doesn’t have bluetooth so need some sort of transmitter
Get a cassette to aux input or you can get a cassette with aux input and Bluetooth

Did you ever install the backup camera? How was that process? Did it include instructions?
It did include the instructions to install the backup camera. But I haven't get it installed since I want to make sure the wiring are hidden. Connecting the backup camera to the this carplay device is siimple, but the wiring the powering the backup camera need your knowledge on your car cords. You may find some videos on TH-cam regarding those.

Hey i really like how you have this set up, i also have a 2004 G35 coupe and would be interested in how you was able to hook up your auxilary in the car im currently running the factory bose audio stereo with no auxilary. Any input would be appreciated.

Hello, about the GPS MAP function, is there an update to be done from time to time? or is it automatic??? how does it work? .....To connect the camera (rear) the connection, is it easy and explained in the manual?? No, for now in my case, I used AUX cable to transfer audio from this carplay device to my car speaker, so it would only control the media part.

How are you using an aux cable to connect to your car speakers ? I have a 2005 g35 and it does not have an aux input.

I also have an 04 G35 and I read that these cars have a factory issue with the stereo system not working sometimes and that happens to me a lot. After installing this have you had any problems with the speakers or radio not working?

You can connect your phone to Road top for display and at the same time connect road top to your car (if it has bluetooth) for sound.
My friend, I have the same one but the screen no longer open, it just has light but not opening, do you have any solution? I contacted the seller and he sent me an update file, also after update it is not giving any picture on the screen just light

I too like the Roadtop 8.8 bought thro Amazon UK. However I have issues with connectivity with the car bluetooth when making a call. The main reason I bought this is to use the maps for travel, music and make voice call hands free on a long journey. Therefore I thought this would be better than Carpuride as itt cannot be used in conjunction with the car bluetooth entertainment system.
I use my iPhone 12 pro to connect with Roadtop. The roadtop in turn connects with the bluetooth of my BMW 7 seriries's entertainment system. I have made sure there are no other bluetooth devices connected through to the BMW bluetooth.
I am able to hear the music app play my iphone music contents very well and clear, despite a small delay I have to wait a bit to hear the music if I fast forward or rewind for the next music to play. However, when making or receiving a call or using an app like Rebtel to make a call - there is considerable delay in the voice reaching either side of the conversation. The call unfortunately cannot continue. It is a bit better with FM transmission but the music is degraded on a long journey.
The makers have responded there is no real solution to this problem. They were evn kind enough to refund.

Is it possible to connect ihone's bluetooth to Roadtop AND BMW bluetooth system at the same time so I can make a call through the BMW and maps through the Roadtop sound system?
Also can I connect Samsung Android pjone to Roadtop and use iphone to connect to BMW - eith of them should sort my problems. But I guess it is not possible. I will have to wait till the weekend to try these out.
Unfortunately I haven't used the bluetooth yet since my car did not have it. You should better reach out to the seller and they should be able to provide some solutions.
Hi Murali Krishnan, I am thinking of getting this device and require Bluetooth connectivity like you. So my phone connects to road top for the display but also have the phone connected to the car Bluetooth. Did you manage to get it working? And would you recommend the device? If not then I might just have to keep pushing using my phone on a vent mount 🙄
