KDP Coloring books are one of the most popular and most lucrative low content books published on Amazon. They are also one of the most competitive and most difficult to create unless you have an artistic or graphic design background. That is, until now. I came up with this idea and found a resource to create a KDP coloring book, including the interior and cover, super fast. It involve using .svg vector files to create a quote type book which sell extremely well on Amazon. With just a few steps you can quickly create an interior page and build up a coloring book and even use one of these pages to create the book cover in a few simple steps. KDP low content books are a great way to build an online business using your computer and laptop and can even create a passive income.

It would be fun to create custom coloring books too, or let kids design one. A teacher could let each child in her class design a page and publish it as one large coloring book from the whole class

Hey Paul, I just wanted to drop in and say thanks for the information you share and the dedication you put into sharing it. I started KDP literally a month ago and sure I haven't had any big viral sellers I have however made about $40 from only 16 books so far (thanks to the season too I'm sure). But it's a good encouraging start to put more time in and do even more books. Thanks again and all the best through the holidays!
when someone makes claims like "you can make a full-time living doing this" then you should immediately be very skeptical. these are commenta meant to engage you and draw you in. you'll be lucky to even make a little bit of side cash.
not to say this video is bad or malicious or anything of the sort. just understand that you probably shouldn't quit your dayjob to make coloring books.
@@DesignByKirk Well like I stated, I made $40 in the first month with 16 books. Sure it's not a living but just as Paul says, the potential IS there if you DO THE WORK. I've gotten busy with some other things so haven't been doing the work I need to push things upward but there's no indication that it can't be done. I don't go into anything blind and not one to think I can put up 20 badly designed books and watch the millions roll in. I'm not an idiot. But thanks for looking out for me. :)

When you use the phrases bought on Creative Fabrica do you check how you do with the images that are not copied from other sites or protected by copyright? For example that they are not quotes from famous people or extracts from books etc.?

Thank you for introducing me to the Affinity suite of products! I hate Adobe, and was loathing the idea of using their CC suite, so I am loving the idea of buying Affinity's suite ONCE! Plus, I am loving the community that has made so many brushes and other tools for the Affinity programs that we can use to create really beautiful art with them!
It is really good software which I use all the time. And yes, the one off payment is a big plus!
I’m not sure about making kdp as much as I had wanted to before....but wondering if maybe my jam will be making content for creators. I didn’t care for the process of uploading to Amazon - but I do have the creative chops to make something for gum road or creative fabrica.

Hey Paul - Great video! As someone who spells words using the Queen's English, I was wondering how you recommend we spell the word colour when creating our colouring books?? Would you create a different cover for different markets or stick to the US spellings? Love your work! :-)

Congrats on 100.000. I've been following you since you had only 4000 :-) Also, I wanted to say that my main niche is quote coloring books. I have 10 now and 3 of them sell very well. In fact, I released my newest book 1. December and it's already ranked as 19.000. BUT I am also running ads though. Otherwise, things would look very different. Hugs from Denmark :-)
How do you find those quotes and How do you make titles for quotes to avoid copyright.

You are a legend! Thank you. I see a lot of other youtubers not mention or care about the bleed but you add it. This is probably answered in the playlist you linked that I am about to go watch. But does amazon know that bleed has been added so If Icreate a book for 8.5x11. And use the bleed files, does amazon cut the images back to that dimesons or do I need to select the next size up? Yes, Amazon does know because when you upload you have to choose whether your interior has bleed or not.
Is there any difference if we select print on demand for search or we don't select because all the graphics are under commercial licence. What's the difference pls let me know....🤔
