Assuming you're crit capped, assuming base non crit hit is 100-100, if you go from 100% increased damage to 130% increased damage, and 100% increased critical strike modifier to 130% critical strike multiplier, you went from doing 400 damage without the node to doing 529 damage with the node, that's more than 25% more damage. And that's not even counting attack speed, or the damage you gain from being able to respec the crit chance nodes to invest in damage nodes. The more scaling vector you have, the harder Hulking Form scales.

Warbringer is making me want to do a high attack speed build that capitalises on negative armour by doing a lot of smaller hits combined with some cast on meta gem that summons none permanent minions you amp the health of and link to minion instability then blow up a second time with your warcry.

you're wrong, with armor break you want big hit instead of small hits. the amount of break is 10% of your hit, meaning with 1m hit you reduce their amours by 100k, capped at 0. however, with imploding impacts it can reach negative numbers.
Negative armor break is perfect for Quin. Dealing zero damage will theoretically give you the most damage increased. Edit; I just looked at the poe current armor formula in a 3d graph calc, and it actually looks like there is a small area close to zero damage that negative armor actually goes parabolic and provides an approaching infinite damage reduction on one side and approaching infinite damage increased on the other. I have to assume it won't work that way, but would be funny
