This movie has always taught me respect and be kind to the quiet big chubby kid in school. They’re always tanks when it comes down to it, he’s someone you’d rather have on your side than some jock.

Rick is smart yet plain stupid. He picks on Angus, knowing that Angus can and has beat his ass on the regular afterwards. Smart thing was that he used Angus beating his ass as a weapon to make Angus look like the bad guy. Stupid thing was eventually, Angus can seriously hurt Rick, or even kill him. If Rick wasn't so Narcissistic and bullying, these 2 could be best friends.
I’ve played electric guitar since I was 2 years-old, I’m a retired professional motocross racer, I’ve almost killed myself hundreds (if not thousands) of times, the car I drove into the senior parking lot (fall of 2002) was my 1979 Camaro Z28 w/ a 350 LT-1 swapped into it from a 1970 Corvette, along with a Muncie M-22 Rock Crusher 4-Speed Transmission, an Edelbrock 7110 Street Tunnel Ram 2x4bbl Intake Manifold, two Holley 850-CFM 4-Barrel Carbs, I cut the Z28’s hood & put a 6” Cowl induction scoop over it & white Racing stripes on the blue ‘79 Z28, then I used a wind tunnel I had access to and cut holes in the 6” cowl which I then applied rubber gaskets around the carburetors, and made a box with pieces of steel that I got from a knocked down _red light ahead_ sign in my home town…to make a pretty Jerry-Rigged Ram Air System…I laid 300 feet of rubber with that car in front of my high school coming out of the student parking lot not realizing my father drove past my high school every day to get to work…the day after I did that, I see my dad walking in the student parking lot just looking at the cars…and then he left…so I asked him what the hell he was doing, he said “I was seeing if any cars in that lot were capable of laying 300+ feet of rubber & had 10” wide rear tires…one car… *YOURS*

There is a song that uses the line “Girls don’t want brains they want guys who are dangerous have tattoos play the guitar stick with me I know these things” with the actors voice and everything. I CANNOT find it for the life of me PLEASE HELP!!!
I always found it hilarious how Angus is one of the very FEW films where the underdog could actually kick the popular kid's ass.
I think that’s why rick hated him so much. He knew that angus had the upper hand on him so he had to rely on embarrassing him.
