Angus was one of those landmark films for me. I was just getting into music and girls. Not really understanding either. Angus was released around the time of Green Day exploding as a mtv band and I loved them. I was about twelve years old. My father took me to see it at our local theatre. More than anything this reminds of how my dad would take me to things as a child even though he didn’t like the same things. He just wanted to make me happy.
@@functioncreep That has NOTHING to do with it. Angus was the type of guy who would NEVER miss a block on purpose, allowing his QB to be hurt. Even if the QB is an asshat. It's called honor, and it's in terribly short supply these days.
@@JohnDoe-cd6roHe’s in the courtroom scene near the end of the movie he’s bald and has a mustache. He’s hard to recognize these days and deeper voice but he looks very similar in the face.
I believe it's time to release the 1995 film 'Angus' in 4K. While it's already available in digital HD, a 4K release would truly do justice to this heartfelt movie. Both the theatrical cut and the original cut of Angus's father should be included. This great film, full of heart, deserves to be experienced in the best quality possible.
ok, first off this is nostaligic for one as a child of the 80's born{1981} and for most of us in our ***coughs** in our lte 30's early 40's this was a story and we actually watchd it in high school when it came out, everybody has a insecurity in them and feel socially awkward at that age w/differnt kliqs someties its hard to be accepted for who you are, or what you look like and it shouldn't be that way esp the "Beautiful People" {yes marilyn manson ref lol} the'll act like their uh stuff don't stink but deep swn inside they are pathetic so for the one's who cannot speak up be their voice, speak up for them, and just be kind esp now w/covid 1v god bless, from New Jersey...

I was born in 85 , got this video from a thrift store around 98 and Mann… it HIT!
In the mid to late 90s I used to rent this movie so much from the video store it was definitely one of my favorite movies from the 90s
I remember my mum taking me to global video to rent this movie. Wish I could go back in time and re live those days again 🙌🏻
This was the last VHS I owned until my girlfriend, now wife, got it for me on DVD.
It was a seminal movie for me growing up.
Me and brother rented this movie from the library. It's one of my favorites.
Renting movies from the library…… that was great, I remember that
@@nachc6459 I know I forgot about that as well. What a time to be alive.
Angus is a great 1990s movie man wished they made a sequel
One of the best movie soundtracks ever
I never thought it was wise for the quarterback to mouth off to his offensive tackle. The tackle can miss a block and bury you real fast.
Hollywood doesn't know anything about sports LOL

I’ve been looking for this movie for years. I remember a seven from when I was younger a it just stayed with me. Can’t wait to re watch it
Love Spit Love...best soundtrack of my youth
This film is extremely underrated
Big time !
Probably one of the greatest films ever made. Top 5 for sure.
Angus is in Where the Crawdads Sing he’s unrecognizable today.
I just watched that. Who did he play?

Lmao can’t believe they filmed a movie at my highschool

I agree with you 100% Jason. This movie really captures the feel of the 1990s before social media, 9/11, Smart Phones, etc
Se sabe triunfadora de silueta encantadora pero vomita a cualquier hora 💛💙♥️
