It's funny i absolutely HATED the Miz for a long time (prob cause of the real world) but he grew on me a lot! As i grew up i saw that he is the equivalent of a modern day Rick Flair. I can really appreciate what it is that he does and i really
Right! A lot of people are gonna be triggered because of what the Miz said in this interview, but really he is a great entertainer and knows how to work the fans
Well that's probably because it's not a character. John morrison said in an interview that the Miz is the realest guy in wrestling because he's not acting.
The difference is hes not really going to make fun of a interviewer that in no offence to gp is not on his level. That was him turning on and off his character. Easy to see the difference
@@jessebaker5940 like miz said. "Some superstars are bigger than the title". I think the miz and Daniel Bryan could have had a main event match at wrestlemania without the title being involved because the story is that good
Miz wrestling has improved since he first joined wwe but yes he is nowhere near Daniel Bryan's talent in the ring. for Miz in acting I would rather see him in movies written by Lucifer valentine
its a perfect destined story. A teacher knowing his student is better than him, and as the years pass the jealousy of the teacher increases while his former student becomes a legend in front of his eyes. then the student is unable to compete which is giving the former teacher more happiness and something to brag about. Finally the time comes when those two can compete after all these years. one on one. Damm giving me goosbumps. please wwe dont fuck it up
I agree 100%. They have these Yin and Yang personalities with each other and that always makes for the best rivalries. If you look at the other great rivalries (Shawn v Bret, Rock v Austin, Trish v Lita, etc.), it's always polar opposite personalities that make for the best stories (or not if the tension is really there) and the best matches.
honestly, the miz really needs to become WWE champion again it really would be awesome he deserves to be WWE champion with what he has been doing the last few years especially when he was Intercontinental champion I would love to see the miz as WWE champion once again and it would fit so well with ending the feud with Daniel Bryan Miz wins it holds till mania Bryan wins rumble and challenges the miz the tittle at mania. The miz really and truly is AWESOME
Interviewer did very well. I would’ve been super intimidated by some of Miz’s counter questions, even if he was alternating between being in and out of character.
Great until that last joke about Renee Young. Oof. That fell really flat and it was inappropriate for the crowd. Miz kept him on his toes though and he handled himself pretty well throughout.
I think I could probably keep up in conversation with Miz in heel mode. But I think I would crawl up into a ball and die if I ever had to speak to Paul Heyman in-character.
+DarkKate48 I thought it was pretty funny. Miz even chuckled. Miz has a good sense of humor. I think Miz just wanted people to make sure others knew he respects and loves his wife dearly and wouldn't picture himself under Rene Young. Miz is kinda a good role model I'd say.
Love him or hate him, The Miz / Mike Mizanin, his passion for what he does shows in this interview. What surprised me the most though was for someone who is so good on the mic, he sometimes forgot to put the mic to his mouth. LOL. Great interview. Great character and seems like a genuinely nice bloke IRL.
I like the way The Miz would answer a question and then be interested enough in the interviewers opinion to see what he thought about it too. Good interview!
The Miz is a role model, man. A guy who worked for everything he has accomplished. I just recently watched him on Tough Enough and it's insane to see how awesome (pun intended) he became. Respect.
I love Miz's subtle dig at the name "Gorilla Position". You can tell he was trying to bait his answer, because Miz totally knows that fans pick up the lingo from shoot interviews and use them to sound like insider experts.
Speaking the truth does not make you the bad guy. The Miz has always been on of my favorites. He can talk on the mic and he can wrestle. If people hate him, that means he is doing his job right, and entertaining the fans.
14:08 Miz speaks about DB and he is intense, I love it. The Miz takes pride ladies and gentlemen and said exactly what db said he was gonna say, also love how miz calls out the interviewer and fans hahaha, but the interviewer did make some valid points on the reigns stuff
One of the best interviews I have ever seen. All valid and great points by the Miz and that is why he is #1 in WWE. Cody is the only other wrestler out there that comes close imo. Best on the mic...period....
Gosh, i am so glad that i am in this era. I watched his early career with John Morrison. I watched his WWE Championship run and thanks god i am watching his prime right now. You are more than your catchprease Miz. You are better than awesome!
Listening to Daniel Bryan’s interview, they’re both right. And Daniel called it out too. They’re very different people with clashing personalities. But what’s great is that they recognize each other’s talent.
I have watched this, the DB interview and the Breezango interview back to back and the one thing have to say is that... this interviewer is fantastic. I seem to always miss his name but he deserves a lot of praise. It just feels like friends having a conversation, which is great.
Miz is the heel that actually speaks the truth in most promos, or at the very least did around the whole 'talking smack' with daniel bryan period. I love him for that work alone, the rest is just icing on the cake.
Miz and Bryan are gonna have such a great feud. It's mouth watering. If Charlotte and Ronda Rousey also compete for a title and the Universal title match doesn't have either Lesnar or Reigns (maybe Bálor vs Strowman, Demon vs Monster?), WM 35 could have the best card ever. At least the triple main event.
I've watched this a few times, over the last year and a half and I've gotta say that this is one of my favorite interviews of the decade, ever, from anyone. Fantastic work guys! :) Have a great holiday season.
Taylar Tupou True asf💯💯💯. Braun only won the MITB just to be Outshadowed by the Roman storyline WHILE IF THE MIZ HAD IT, SMACKDOWN COULD'VE USED IT SO MUCH BETTER
Miz vs Bryan rivalry is WWE's greatest rivalry right now. This has been building since NXT when Miz became Daniel Bryan's pro. I hope they face each other at WrestleMania next year. Maybe Miz wins the WWE title leading to WrestleMania and Bryan wins Royal Rumble next year.
Dude. Wow. GREAT work, interviewer. Miz is a damn good human being -- disparagers can suck a lemon. My first time watching a Gorilla Position video. First of many. Cheers.
When you said "Roman reigns is scripted" The miz really couldn't come up with an answer, he said "How do you know?" and you said "It is in the eyes" which isn't a joke, it sometimes is. I think he's becoming less scripted with promos, examples are the feuds of John Cena, Brock Lesnar and even Bobby Lashley. Accasinally he still gets incredibly scripted promos which are just awful but when it is him, it's 10 times better.
yes he is incredibly lazy cause he knows his value ( vince and management adoooooooooore him ) so he knows he wont be punished for not giving it his all
The way that Miz seamlessly balanced real life and kayfabe (particularly the second Bryan was mentioned) in this interview was brilliant...BRILLIANT. This guy is such a treasure.
GOOOOOOOD, The Miz is so fucking awesome. They're building the feud by themselves. I hope WWE use these outside interviews as part of the story. It would be so good.
This man as the mind set that every wrestler should have, you listen to him and you can feel that he is passionate about what is doing, some will say that he is cocky but no, he knows how good he is but he also knows what it took him to be that good. When you listen to the Miz you know he believe what he's saying and he believe that he is great and that is why he is where he is today and that is also why the Miz is one of the best of this generation and will also be remember at the end of is carreer as one of the best of all time, cause he believe it so. That is why a lot of wrestlers who had so much potentials have fails, it's because they didn't had the same passion or dedication
Excellent interview. I love how Miz finely walks that grey line between a promo and a real shoot. What he said about Bryan here is an extension of the infamous Talking Smack episode. The material here is too good; it needs to be on TV in some point.
Miz deserves a main title run, I think he's earned it with his work on the mic, he's earned it based on his work with the IC title. He's easily one of the most entertaining people in WWE.
I found the interviewer hilarious. I loved his low key jabs that weren't picked up on. Love his sense of humor and how carefree he is. It's okay to have a relaxed interview.(Hear me out) Most modern day people aren't using three piece suits everyday. By using casual clothing you kind of bring yourself(The Miz) into our world. It's nice to see someone in such a high caliber setting like The Miz interacting casually. It's more intimate and lets the audience feel like they're getting to know someone on a much more personal level. Dressing nice is very much appreciated. It's a nice gesture, but it's not necessarily everything.
I love this guy. I am telling you it is only a matter of time before he has the Championship again. I also love how he can switch back and forward between the Miz and Mike. I think it is one of the best in WWE if not the best. I really hope the hold Daniel Bryan vs the Miz off until WM
The Miz has earned my respect over the years..... Truly his rivalry with Bryan is the best and has been years in the making..... He is one of the best heels of all times in the WWE if not the best...... Undoubtedly The Miz is aweeeesooommmmeee!!!!!
Miz is wrong about Roman, it has worked for awhile but the last 2 PPV's people walked out on his matches especially when he main evented over the WWE belt without the Universal Title even on the card.
Gotta agree with MIz, his match at WM34 with Seth and Balor was the best of the night and it was the first match on the show. Excluding Preshow, obviously.
Daniel Bryan is such an important Yin to Miz's Yang. Let me just put this out there first; I've completely been on The Miz's side since way back in late 2009. In my personal opinion, he wasn't great back then. But I've watched him scratch and crawl his way to where he is now and it's one of those things where I get irritated by the whole "he wasn't from the indies so who cares" mentality that some people have. Miz is good and he's been good for years at this point so that argument doesn't stand anymore as far as i'm concerned. I think his points about Daniel Bryan are legit and valid and it honestly sounds like he's working himself into a shoot here. Same for Daniel Bryan. Every time I hear them talk about each other it makes me wonder if they really do have this amount of tension between them. It reminds me a lot of what Shawn and Bret were back in the 90s. If it's all a work then bravo to the both of them for honestly making me believe that what they're saying is true. If it's true, then I have to agree with The Miz over Daniel Bryan. Bryan turned his back and walked away, Miz has never done that.
Mike The Miz Mizanin From WWE. I hope I Can Interviewed Him Someday. I Absolutely LOVE His WWE Career Too. And His Rivalry With Daniel Bryan. His Former Best friend , Alex Riley. And Fatherhood Also. I hope You Get To Meet You In person Someday 💕💕💕💕 You're the Reason I Exist MAN!!!! Thank You For Everything You Do for WWE.
Miz hit it right on the nail about Daniel. 100% It must be tough being a legit talented ass heel to the point where people actually believe your character and blame you for everything. Daniel was the one that offended Miz on talking smack and then it triggered Mike. He’s not even the villain in this predicament. RoyalOutcast your completely wtong on the Daniel Bryan talking smack segment.. Watch the interview with the miz talking about it.. He was never trying to get under Daniel Bryans skin at all. He said he was cutting that promo strictly because the intercontinental championship wasn't getting any attention. So he used that platform too give it some value, he. Even stated that he thought Daniel Bryan was going to punch him in the face, the great thing about the miz is he is a bit old school hes been in the wwe since 2006, he rarely gets out of kayfabe. Dude plays a character in everything he does. From what I know he doesn't hate Daniel bryan, but there not best buds. But I'm sure there is a respect factor there.
Sumo Leonard never said he hated Daniel. And I know when he went off on Talking Smack, that it was only out of anger of Creative having nothing for him that night while he was champion. I’m just saying that half of what he said was indeed true. Sometimes when you’re pissed while you’re suppose to be in character your true colors start to show and you blab out the truth, much like CM Punk numerous of times.
Wow the Miz truly IS AWWWESOME!!!!! Should've won MITB that way he could cash in on A.J. at Summerslam win then face Bryan at Mania in the main event and WIN!!! I love D Bryan but the Miz truly deserves that accolade!!!
One of the things that makes Mike / Miz as great as he is in my opinion is how he is able to turn it off and on and he issued in " the truth " in promos as far as I can tell .
I love how the miz can be in and out of character in a second. Deffinetly one of the best in the wwe this era
It's funny i absolutely HATED the Miz for a long time (prob cause of the real world) but he grew on me a lot! As i grew up i saw that he is the equivalent of a modern day Rick Flair. I can really appreciate what it is that he does and i really

There isn't much of a difference between Mike Mizanin and the Miz. The Miz is just him just turned up to 11
The difference is hes not really going to make fun of a interviewer that in no offence to gp is not on his level. That was him turning on and off his character. Easy to see the difference
Dude this guy is golden on the mic !! He can go from mike to the miz in a blink of an eye! This dude is great !
No other talent right now is able to blur the lines between reality and wrestling like this so subtly, amazing.
How does Miz cut such a great promo on the spot, true top guy.
Cos The Miz is actually just him. Up 10 notch.
without the WWE championship and still be the top guy wow
@@jessebaker5940 like miz said. "Some superstars are bigger than the title". I think the miz and Daniel Bryan could have had a main event match at wrestlemania without the title being involved because the story is that good

Mike is a goddamn treasure, dude needs a wwe championship run again
Lord Rexz I hate that he considers himself a one hit wonder. The Miz NEEDS that WWE title again!
FACTS
Albeit a short reign, he is now a 2 time WWE champ which is good, removes the 1 hit wonder stigma

What an incredible interview. Miz doing great promo work here.
Miz is the man! I have done quite many interviews in my time, but interviewing him would be just crazy! Does not make it easy for the interviewer...
I loved this interview. I like the Miz for shooting straight from the hip. Much respect for him.
Great interview, it’s like the middle of the night and I stayed up and watched the whole thing. I’m going to be hurting at work in a few hours.
I'm doing that right now 4 am gotta be working at 6 am I feel this
I'm seeing a lot of young Ric Flair in him... he's cocky yet he backs it up. #Respect
Great speaker Miz
IC title>universal title
Raw/Smackdown Women's Title> Universal Title

Excellent, excellent, excellent interview. Love hearing Miz' side and it makes complete sense.
Kudos to The Miz and his wife Maryse on their child. Stay being AWESOOOME!
I loved every bit of this shoot interview you can never go wrong with having the Miz on the segment
This is one of the best interviews of a current WWE talent I've seen, I reckon. Man, The Miz is good.
Miz is the heel that actually speaks the truth in most promos, or at the very least did around the whole 'talking smack' with daniel bryan period. I love him for that work alone, the rest is just icing on the cake.

Miz could school Reigns easily.. make him look like a fool, Roman i feel is lazy when it comes to the mic.. John Cena proved it
yes he is incredibly lazy cause he knows his value ( vince and management adoooooooooore him ) so he knows he wont be punished for not giving it his all
LMAO Roman shows up pretty much every week and every PPV, so what's Brock's excuse?
pisto30 *cough* fanboy *cough*
2 minutes in and the suit conversation already earned my "like". LOL
I swear I love this guy his promo skills are top notch! I truly don’t believe anyone is as good as the Miz on the 🎤
This is by far the best interview with the miz
The way that Miz seamlessly balanced real life and kayfabe (particularly the second Bryan was mentioned) in this interview was brilliant...BRILLIANT.
This guy is such a treasure.
GOOOOOOOD, The Miz is so fucking awesome. They're building the feud by themselves. I hope WWE use these outside interviews as part of the story. It would be so good.

Miz vs DB at wm35 needs to happen let it burn slow and build up hell of good

I... can't argue with what the Miz has said. This just makes me want to see it more, but I agree, the build up to it will make it even more fantastic.
Miz deserves a main title run, I think he's earned it with his work on the mic, he's earned it based on his work with the IC title. He's easily one of the most entertaining people in WWE.
its funny how quickly miz went from being nice about bryan to being very harsh but true
36:09 I love that "And we were doing so well" shrug by Miz.
I’m just going to say it ... I love the Miz .
The Miz is the most wwe of any wwe wrestler. The way he talks and thinks it's really interesting.
Miz is an absolute master of blurring the lines! Great stuff
It's more intimate and lets the audience feel like they're getting to know someone on a much more personal level. Dressing nice is very much appreciated. Miz flipped the interview the second the cameras rolled. Fucking brilliant.
Aye when Miz retires he’d be an awesome booker
Miz always working 💪
the miz would be huge on the indies i really think he could get over anywhere his style on the mic is perfect
I kinda wish sometimes that The Miz would snap and switch from being evasive "cowardly" heel to relentless vicious brutal hardcore heel.
Gotta agree with MIz, his match at WM34 with Seth and Balor was the best of the night and it was the first match on the show. Excluding Preshow, obviously.
Fantastic interview!
Underrated channel.
The miz is just awesome he was ripping on Bryan while also complimenting him at the same time he’s just great
God bless the miz

Miz defo needs a run with the WWE Title. I hated the guy wen he 1st started but he's well improved n is probly WWEs best talker
And this is why he is my favorite superstar right now
I used to hate the miz thought he was lame... but NOW.. damn one of the absolute best! BEST Heal! Best Charisma! Best attitude!

Wow the Miz truly IS AWWWESOME!!!!! Should've won MITB that way he could cash in on A.J. at Summerslam win then face Bryan at Mania in the main event and WIN!!! I love D Bryan but the Miz truly deserves that accolade!!!
God Miz really is awesome
What a cool interview
The Miz is one of the best in my opinion.
Mizz was awesome in the interview
Now thats a great workshoot that will make you watch their PPV match.
One of the things that makes Mike / Miz as great as he is in my opinion is how he is able to turn it off and on and he issued in " the truth " in promos as far as I can tell .
