Walu TV I imagine the majority of wrestlers have the same opinion on WWE creative as us, they are just too afraid to be honest about it publicly like this.
Walu TV Everybody has the same opinion on the wwe creative they are a bunch of delusional fools mcmahon included wasting a stacked up roster like that and booking this pathetic shit
true...just look at the Elite and how much fun they have in their videos, they just love their job, same in the videos from the Undisputed Era when they film themselves. I dont get anyway why wrestlers need writers for their promos, thats part of their job and if they are not able to write/cut a promo they shouldn´t do that kind of job.
Go watch the recent interview that Shinsuke Nakamura did, he clearly said " 私はジェフハーディーのジックをとても強く吸って、私の米国のタイトルを私に降伏させます" Translate that and you will give a WTF face to Vince McMahon
I've been a fan of Daniel Bryan since his Indie days. That comment at 18:54 just made me completely fall in love with him all over again LOL. I bet you can't find 5 people who wrestle for WWE currently that would have the testicular fortitude to say that in an interview
It's not about "testicular fortitude", it's about keeping their jobs. You'd be hard pressed to find 5 guys in the WWE who are as protected as Daniel Bryan is right now. He's basically CM Punk 2.0 at the moment, and can effectively get away with whatever he wants because he's that big of a draw and WWE is in desperate need of that right now. You make the money, you get the special treatment, that's how it's always been in pro wrestling. Cesaro said some of this same stuff years ago, and what happened to him? Hasn't been anywhere near the main event ever since. Finn Balor talked some shit somewhat recently and even he wasn't safe from the backstage politics. And you'll find no end of former WWE wrestlers whose mouths buried them just as effectively as the Cena Shovel. Ryback, Cody Rhodes and Austin Aries just to name a few. They were justifiably unhappy with what they were being given and said as much to anyone who would listen, which only made it worse because Vince is petty like that. Daniel Bryan giving his true opinions isn't brave, courageous or anything else, because he's in a position where he has absolutely nothing to fear in terms of it coming back on him. For everyone else in the locker room, keeping their mouths shut will serve them a lot better than airing their grievances in public. That's not how it SHOULD be in an ideal world, but this ain't an ideal world and that's just how it is. Maybe it'll get better then Vince finally croaks and Trips takes over completely, because by all accounts he's a lot more reasonable and open-minded.
You never saw Stone Cold or The Rock or The Undertaker speak up, did you? In fact, to this day they don't speak up and avoid questions about current backstage politics like the plague. Sure, they'll talk about shit that happened 20 years ago, but they sure as hell don't rock the boat even though they're in prime positions to do it if they wanted to. Even guys like Edge and Jericho, who are known to be two of the more outspoken guys who still have current ties with WWE, don't often comment on current backstage politics, and when they do it's usually in the form of evasive non-answers, such as claiming they don't know what the current locker room is like. No one wants to bite the hand that fed them. And here's the thing about Roman; literally everything he has is tied up with WWE. The name Roman Reigns carries no weight outside of the company, but Bryan Danielson is a name that has almost as much clout outside WWE as Daniel Bryan does inside it. D-Bry can literally go anywhere and any promotion would throw money at him just for a couple of matches. WWE knows that as well, if the rumors going around that they're trying to push out every Daniel Bryan "Dream Match" they can before his contract is up are true. Bryan Danielson has nothing to lose and he knows it; Joe Anoaʻi has EVERYTHING to lose and he knows it. People love to call Reigns the most protected man in wrestling, but what they routinely ignore is the fact that he's under more constant pressure and scrutiny than any other wrestler in the business, period. Because as high up the ladder as he is, he's got one hell of a fall if he slips up, and unlike your Bryans, your AJs and your Nakamuras, he's got no safety net if he takes the plunge. So that super protected spot of his? Might as well be sitting in a crocodile's mouth. Sure, nothing outside is gonna fuck with you while you're in there, but every single moment carries the very real risk of being eaten alive when the thing that's keeping you safe decides it doesn't like you anymore.
Jesse Enclave yes but when you're bringing up Stone Cold and Undertaker You're comparing apples to oranges. The way wrestling is viewed and the way wrestlers view themselves today is different when you're talking about the younger wrestlers.
TheThoughtful Critic No, it's not apples to oranges because nothing has changed. Not really. Yes, the way pro wrestling is viewed has changed. Yes, the way wrestlers view themselves and their own worth in the business has changed. But you know what hasn't changed? The people in charge and the overall mentality of the business, and that's the problem. With WWE in particular, with all their talk of how they've changed and evolved over the years, because of Vince and his inner circle, it's still very much an old school establishment at its core. You can think you're a big deal all you want, but if you don't draw the crowds and don't move the merch, fuck you. And if management likes somebody more than you, fuck you. If one of the top guys starts complaining about you and your work, fuck you. If you don't want to play by these arbitrary rules that can change whenever someone up top feels like it, then fuck you. There are some wrestlers who understand that and adapt to it, doing their jobs, keeping their heads down and doing what they can with what they're given. You can call them cowards, you can call them pussies, but at the end of the day they're still getting paid and still providing for their families. But then there are those who think they deserve more, and whether they're right or wrong they aren't going to stand for being overlooked and undervalued. Those people usually end up as jobbers for years or they get "Future Endeavored" out of the blue. But every now and then those people will get the crowd behind them and become an unstoppable force that WWE can't ignore or brush under a rug. And when the money starts rolling in, those people become the golden boys, so long as they can keep it up. But keeping it up is the problem. If you believe CM Punk, he quit because he became a victim of his own success. He was raking in the cash and the company couldn't get enough, so they pushed and pushed and pushed, putting him in worse and worse positions in worse and worse conditions until he just couldn't take it anymore. Now I don't completely buy that story myself because of the sheer salt content on Punk's part, but a lot of it makes sense and fits with what a lot of other former WWE stars say and a lot of things that have happened in the current era. All that really matters is money, and if you want anyone to listen to you, you have to be a top draw. But if the powers that be don't like you, you'll either be sabotaged or worked to death even as a top draw. Hell, even guys who are well-liked by fans and management alike sometimes leave because of the workload put on them as a top guy. Prime example being Kurt Angle. Bottom line is that the vast majority of the guys who really made it in WWE did it by being yesmen and kissing ass whenever they needed to. Guys like Punk and Bryan are the exceptions, not the rule, and a big part of what makes them exceptions is the fact that they weren't made by WWE, and thus aren't fully at WWE's mercy. They made their own names before they came to the "big leagues", and so always had something to fall back on if it didn't work out. That right there most likely gave them a few less fucks to give than their co-workers. That said, notice that their outspokenness didn't come until AFTER they'd already achieved fame in WWE. If you can find interviews from before anyone cared about them, I guarantee you'll notice a big damn difference in what they're willing to say and how they say it.
People are always shitting on Vince because he didn't let Bryan wrestle for 3 years but do you guys not understand that Vince have wrestlers DIE on him due to drugs and injuries??? I dont get why people dont understand why Vince gets so paranoid when it comes to a situation like Daniel Bryan he was just looking out for the guy
Prince Castro Do you understand what is happening to the NXT call-ups today? They're literally being wasted. It's not that Bryan isn't the one getting pushed, but that other people who are equally talented aren't getting that well-deserved push either
Don't pretend like you know what the fuck you're talking about lol. Pills has nothing to do with Daniel Bryan being Medically cleared by professional doctors outside of the company, just to be denied by WWE's bull shit medical team. Stick to being an Instagram douche.
I am waiting for the video package for The Miz vs Daniel Bryan match at WrestleMania 35. Just image how legendary that is gonna be and then there's gonna be the match itself.
The way things are going, unless one of them is injured, Miz and Bryan will have a match at Wrestlemania. I'm not sure if it'll be the main event or if it'll be for a title (be that WWE or US), but it's happening for sure. For now, at Extreme Rules and probably at Summerslam Bryan will be with Kane in a program against the Bludgeon Brothers. After Summerslam it could be a good moment to have Daniel Bryan in a feud with Nakamura for the US title. Maybe they could go back and forth with the belt until Nakamura eventually wins the last matvh of the feud maybe in December. Bryan could win the Rumble, say he'll compete for the WWE title. Miz should win the title at some point before Mania so they could have a match for the title, which Bryan should win and keep at Backlash. Imagine Roman Reigns is drafted to SD and he turns heel on Bryan. Another great story waiting to be told, one that could easily be milked for the whole summer. Those two stories are so easy that I'd almost consider them idiot proof.
Anxo Fernandez Miz vs Bryan deserves to be main event for a title but knowing that way wwe thinks, it'll be a preshow no title match and end with some sort of interference.
Dustin Hinsley agreed but its hard at this point to imagine him getting a push anytime this year. Which might just cost them bryan in general since he said the schedual is tedious i wouldnt be shocked if he left for the indies and worked his own schedual
If Miz somehow came across the WWE title and even if he had other feuds maybe he had lackeys that didnt let Daniel get to a title chance till he won the Royal Rumble or a chance through idk, Elimination Chamber or something along those lines. Miz v. Bryan at Mania, keeps the heat building having them only meeting thru at best backstage segments or tag matches. That said his point about when has WWE done that for years is valid. Point taken lmao.
Fans said long ago that Daniel should go to Vince and tell him, well if the Dr. of WWE doesn't clear me, but EVERY otehr Dr. does, I might just go somewhere else when my contract runs out. Good call that he did that, maybe later as some peopel would have suggestes, but he, did, cool! Because as Vince buys every wrestler possible, just that NJPW or ROH can't have them, it was clear that he wouldn't let get Daniel Bryan go! ;-)
I don't think they should rocket him to the top JUST yet either BUT you do have to strike while the iron is hot and if you keep jerking around you'll end up stuck in the midcard which is exactly where WWE want Bryan and where they've always seen Bryan being. In my opinion one of two things is going to happen, either he will get tired of being in the midcard and he'll refuse to do anything that won't push him and WWE will be forced to push him OR he won't be interested in playing politics so he'll go somewhere that wants him and that will make him a headlining act like NJPW. Losing Daniel Bryan would be a HUGE loss for WWE and would make NJPW explode into the stratosphere.
Bryan out here roasting the creative team, surely wwe knows there main roster product is shit now. They will probs do miz vs Bryan on main event and make it a dq finish
WWE creative sucks so bad on the main roster I wouldn't trust them to make a good storyline!! Look what we have with Bryan his teaming with Kane again but that shows me they want him to wrestle less and tone it down which is so dumb you don't tell him how he should wrestle if I was bryan I would think about not resigning if that's the s*** They're gonna pull I'm sick of WWE creative not pushing the guys that should be pushed like Daniel but instead you're pushing Roman Reigns it's pisses people off
They missed and screwed up the golden opportunity to set up the perfect culminating feud for them at WrestleMania for the WWE Title... Should of booked it liked this: Miz Wins Money In The Bank for 2nd Time Bryan Challenges AJ Styles for Dream match at Summerslam for WWE Title, we get a "This Is Awesome" 40 minute match Miz ruins a classic match that appears Bryan was about to win, cashes in, makes it a threeway and pins Bryan who he attacked with Briefcase. 1-2-3 Miz becomes Two Time WWE Champion Next Month AJ invokes Rematch Clause for Title he was never pinned for in losing... But Bryan's accidental interference in match gets AJ disqualified... Next Month we have three way, Miz sneaks away with WIN with Bryan and AJ's competitiveness being turned one another and beating the hell out of each other. This allows Miz to say they have both been beat and lost their chances and it was time for a new contender for him to defend against... and AJ and Bryan can feud for two months. Miz retains until Rumble gaining moment as a legit Champion and having a good run at this point, Miz and AJ face for title in one on one rematch finally, Miz Retains and looks strong coming out of win over AJ Bryan wins the Rumble from number 1 spot. Bryan vs Miz for the title with Miz going in as Champ and Bryan Coming out as Champ at Wrestlemania35 BOOM! THAT'S HOW YOU BOOK IT!! WWE CREATIVE IS SHIT!! Can't see the gold in front of their faces!
Thank you, I think so too, I really believe if I could convince them to hire me and fire their creative and have Vince give me control of the wheel I could fix their problems and write compelling stories that hit on nostalgia but take their lifeforms and continue the legacy of wrestling the true fans yearn for. I just honestly don't believe I could get through to Vince at that level, so I let my dreams of being the WWE's creative mastermind tap out before ever getting in the ring. :-( One day maybe, I'm considering trying to get in touch with the Elite to write a completion to their story of being and becoming the best, Thee Elite. I think they're delivering already but I feel like the story their telling needs an even more epic climax that ends with them bleeding into WWE like the NWO and changing the world by showing up in script (appearing offscript) at WreslteMania, I'm starting to believe something like this could happen if the pieces can fall in line with each other... and I have ideas about how to get those pieces in the places they need to be to be able to pitch this Vince and WWE as not only good for business but BEST FOR BUSINESS!
Its crazy that WWE is the biggest company and they suck so much lmao like only in wrestling thats possible football never is the biggest football league because they have the best athletes and best games nba is the biggest basketball league because they market themselves well have great players and great games ufc the biggest mma company because of the characters great match ups etc WWE the biggest company and EVERYTHING about them sucks ONLY IN WRESTLING THATS POSSIBLE!
I like Daniel. I really do, but I'm really getting tired of watching him hulk up in all his matches. There was a time when he actually bothered to come up with innovative counters and sequences. Now, the extent of his technical wrestling seems to be some drop kicks and the Yes lock.
Internet Slumlord I suppose that's part of it, but go back and watch Punk/Bryan from 2012, no hulking up there, or the matches he had during his first World Title run on Smackdown. Dude was having good matches with the Big Show AND Mark Henry. No hulking up either. I honestly think that if he turned heel, it would help a lot. I just think that maybe he's become more focused on "the character" of Daniel Bryan, perpetual underdog and isn't showing us much of, Daniel Bryan, one of the best technical wrestlers in the WWE. A heel run would be great, and I think it'd make all the difference in the world. I also know that that's not going to happen anytime soon. Too much money to be made as a babyface right now. Maybe someday though.
He does a ton of ground work and submissions now but lets not act like he didn't do that a lot beforehand. It isn't because it is a WWE style either but simply the crowd goes wild when it happens, even when other superstars do the same thing mocking him or not they get yes chants.
One of the best wrestling interviews I've ever seen, Bryan is so underrated as a speaker and entertainer!
These interviews are always great. I love how Bryan has the same opinion on WWE creative as me.
Walu TV I imagine the majority of wrestlers have the same opinion on WWE creative as us, they are just too afraid to be honest about it publicly like this.
No, it's the same opinion every real WWE fan has against the product, which is most of the community
I'm glad I'm not the only person who gets pissed off/upset by the phrase "everything happens for a reason". Wise words from Daniel Bryan.
I don't, bad or good, shit happens for reasons, put in place by others or nature itself
I've been a fan of Daniel Bryan since his Indie days. That comment at 18:54 just made me completely fall in love with him all over again LOL. I bet you can't find 5 people who wrestle for WWE currently that would have the testicular fortitude to say that in an interview

So much respect for posting the entire thing 👏🏼👏🏼
Tbh I have never seen an interview from this channel but the whole thing was just natural and really great. Good stuff.
Great to see some love for the YT channel. Personally always like watching interviews with the visuals as well. Loving the Belt placement too :)

If Vince would've let Bryan wrestle and something would've happened, we'd now tear Vince apart because of that...
exactly, an injury needs rest, no matter what the fans want

I am waiting for the video package for The Miz vs Daniel Bryan match at WrestleMania 35. Just image how legendary that is gonna be and then there's gonna be the match itself.
He's probably the only reason I would ever buy a ticket for a wwe event. I hope he gets the wwe title soon.

Finally a wrestler being honest and not a corporate puppet
I wanna see Snitsky feud with Daniel Bryan cause he wants to kick his baby into the crowd
Ceem Play 😂😂😂😂
Lol
..IT WASN'T HIS FAULT
During the first couple minutes Daniel Bryan could sell being a parent to anyone =).
I was a doubter in daniel originally and he proved me wrong, but is it wrong to say he has very little traction since he came back?
Thats not his fault, its creative.
Dustin Hinsley agreed but its hard at this point to imagine him getting a push anytime this year. Which might just cost them bryan in general since he said the schedual is tedious i wouldnt be shocked if he left for the indies and worked his own schedual
i am biggest fan of Bryan from INDIA
Listening to Meltzer burying the guy for calling Bryan Vs Miz "The greatest story in WWE history" was glorious ;)
(Great interview still!)
18:39
No fucks given. Sad part is, he's telling the truth.
Miss Elizabeth reuniting with Savage was a long con... But i can't picture it happening again..
Jonny Bairstow does interviews now?
Kevin Riemers the cricketer?

@ 6:40 someone in this room just passed gas 😳
Put suit on!!!
- the miz
Lmao db keeps it real.
What kinda shoes is he wearing?

Db deserves it all
Sounds like/looks like he leans forward to fart at 6:38 heh... These headphones are great! 5/5 stars do recommend.
Also great interview!
Why can't this man just say SMACKDOWN? No need to give it corny nicknames, it's not your friend.
Daniel "Zero fucks given" Bryan
18:45 How many fucks given? -5000 :D
And in that day 0 fucks were given
I am sorry Daniel..I used to hate you (little bit) before..but now..I liked and respect you.. forgive me man 😐🤝💪❤
Fart at 6:39... Hahahaha!
😂😂😂
Dude... Smacky D? That's an awful name for SmackDown.
theRadDan Seriously, completely disrespected the SmackDown roster. Sad.
Copperstone89 you're an idiot
J Lebleu it's literally not
#DanielBryan
Daniel "I give zero fucks" Bryan 😂
Noboy can have a better interview than bryan
Bryan out here roasting the creative team, surely wwe knows there main roster product is shit now. They will probs do miz vs Bryan on main event and make it a dq finish
WOW He buried WWE GOOD they deserve this bryan is the Man
My thought on this, money and fame do not last, Time with your family and time itself you will never get back!
I'd like to see him take a year away from WWE and get all of the dream matches out of his system
WWE creative sucks so bad on the main roster I wouldn't trust them to make a good storyline!! Look what we have with Bryan his teaming with Kane again but that shows me they want him to wrestle less and tone it down which is so dumb you don't tell him how he should wrestle if I was bryan I would think about not resigning if that's the s*** They're gonna pull I'm sick of WWE creative not pushing the guys that should be pushed like Daniel but instead you're pushing Roman Reigns it's pisses people off
Jesus is one of my favorite wrestlers
The false paradigms of "fate" and "destiny" underscore a victim's mentality.
Will WWE futher this storyline until wrestlemaina 35 🤔 of course not. Even the 🐐 Daniel Bryan has no faith in creative smh
anyone else see DB just start bleeding?
smackie d?
Maaan, Bryan vs Miz is today's Hart vs HBK. Legendary rivalry!!
Taylar Tupou thank you Gaara. Glad your current job isn't keeping you too busy to comment 😋
it may be good but no change in hell its Hart vs HBK feud.
They missed and screwed up the golden opportunity to set up the perfect culminating feud for them at WrestleMania for the WWE Title... Should of booked it liked this:
Miz Wins Money In The Bank for 2nd Time
Bryan Challenges AJ Styles for Dream match at Summerslam for WWE Title, we get a "This Is Awesome" 40 minute match
Miz ruins a classic match that appears Bryan was about to win, cashes in, makes it a threeway and pins Bryan who he attacked with Briefcase. 1-2-3 Miz becomes Two Time WWE Champion
Next Month AJ invokes Rematch Clause for Title he was never pinned for in losing... But Bryan's accidental interference in match gets AJ disqualified...
Next Month we have three way,
Miz sneaks away with WIN with Bryan and AJ's competitiveness being turned one another and beating the hell out of each other.
This allows Miz to say they have both been beat and lost their chances and it was time for a new contender for him to defend against... and AJ and Bryan can feud for two months.
Miz retains until Rumble gaining moment as a legit Champion and having a good run at this point, Miz and AJ face for title in one on one rematch finally, Miz Retains and looks strong coming out of win over AJ
Bryan wins the Rumble from number 1 spot.
Bryan vs Miz for the title with Miz going in as Champ and Bryan Coming out as Champ at Wrestlemania35
BOOM!
THAT'S HOW YOU BOOK IT!!
WWE CREATIVE IS SHIT!! Can't see the gold in front of their faces!
Gargano vs Chiampa is the modern day Hart vs HBK
Regarding WWE can't give us what we want all the time: So character credibility or logical storylines and booking is not possible? Interestint... :D
Daniel Bryan gives Zero Fucks!!!
Smack dab
Tap or Snap
Ceem Play or Nap
idk man, but this guy is scary.
Aaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnd big cass is gone
Poor big Cass got fired
Albert Twangle childs cant get fired , they dont have jobs ...
Daniel bryan was a jerk with the miz
Its crazy that WWE is the biggest company and they suck so much lmao like only in wrestling thats possible football never is the biggest football league because they have the best athletes and best games nba is the biggest basketball league because they market themselves well have great players and great games ufc the biggest mma company because of the characters great match ups etc WWE the biggest company and EVERYTHING about them sucks ONLY IN WRESTLING THATS POSSIBLE!
He sounds like he's getting old
Bryan is likely correct, stuff does not happen for a reason, but am very pessimistic.
Daniel Bryan is leaving wwe. I have insider info. 🤫
I wish.
I like Daniel. I really do, but I'm really getting tired of watching him hulk up in all his matches. There was a time when he actually bothered to come up with innovative counters and sequences. Now, the extent of his technical wrestling seems to be some drop kicks and the Yes lock.
That's WWE's work style. If you want to see him at his best then pray New Japan or someone else hands him a big enough check to leave the WWE.
It isn't because it is a WWE style either but simply the crowd goes wild when it happens, even when other superstars do the same thing mocking him or not they get yes chants.
hes literally the same wrestler he was before the injuries dude he always did that hulk up shit
He hulked up in his first WWE match against Jericho. It's not a new thing for him.
Daniel Bryan an atheist? Yes, yes, yes!
no no
lol lost me at "smacky d"
The Miz > Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan is a good wrestler, but has zero charisma and zero personality. All the indie guys are like that.
flaws of being a wreslter if he has a reall 9 to 5 job he wouldnt miss those thing
We're not meant to understand God's reasoning Bryan
