My grandmother passed away unexpectedly the morning of the RR in '20. I'm forever thankful for Edge for being able to return made that day was less shitty. I tweeted out to him that it happened and he "liked" it, that's all i needed from him. Just to let him know how much i appreciate him.
Sorry about your grandma, but awesome that Edge's return gave you a moment away from your grief. I find, for me, that wrestling makes me forget about my problems. Even if it's just for a few minutes it puts a smile on my face and I feel excited enough that I forget about my sadness!!!
Love the intros of these interviews with the guests pulling up, checking out the studio, etc. Appreciate the interviews and all of the work you (and Hotdog) put into them.
Edge/Adam Copeland. Such a legend and an inspiration. And for me personally a huge inspiration. To come back to wrestling after being told he was done resonated so much with me. It actually put in motion me getting back into Karate after told I was done too. He'll never see this comment, but lord I have to thank him for his return to wrestling. That 2020 rumble pop will live with me forever.
Much respect to Adam one of my favorite wrestlers growing up and I got to meet in the most random way door dashing him some food and that was the most awesome experience of my life!!!
Adam's match against Christian at World's End was incredible. What a fun spectacle it was. It's cool seeing Adam stepping out of WWE and seeing him do something different. He's even more awesome than he already was knowing he's a Mike Patton fan.
@@corrupsean_ It gave me vibes of the Attitude Era and earlier days of Ruthless Aggression. Its nice to see Sam make a career doing something he truly loves, I remember hearing him on O&A since the mid-90's talking about wrestling and he always knew his stuff. Whenever a wrestler died they kept count and Sam was the go to guy for the majority of those segments, despite how much bashing he got it made great radio and Sam never lost his love for Wrestling
One of greatest of all time, a great mind that understands the business in and out. It was a pleasure listening to the guy who has been my favourite wrestler since 2001- present❤❤
As a Torontian edge is so important to me, his matches and his character has shaped who I’ve become today, I was so lucky to see his last ever match in Toronto in WWE! Thank you Edge you’ll always be so important to me! (and props to the Mr. Bungle shirt)
I’ve been going down the rabbit hole on YT finding WWE superstars talking about their careers in interviews. This might be the best interview yet. Sam is the best interviewer I’ve seen. Good engaging questions and really good follow ups!

A friend of mine trained with Adam and Christian way back in 98. Right before they went to WWE. He also knew Just Joe. I will always remember him telling me 2 things. During KOTR 98 he said the Mankind/Taker match will be the most memorable match we will see and when Edge debuted in his first PPV that he was gonna be a huge star in the future! My friend would later go on to have huge heat with Bobby Roode and it is something I always have wanted to meet Roode for just to get his reaction lol.
Sam, I've known of you for years, never really watched your podcasts/interviews or listened to them. But i've now watched two, this one and the one with Maven. Just wanted to say, no part of this felt like an interview. Just a conversation between two dudes. Great job man! keep it up
One of the best tag team matches I ever saw live was in a hockey rink in my hometown - Sexton Hardcastle & Christian Cage (Suicide Blondes) vs Don Callis & Rick Martel (The Supermodels) for Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling in the summer of 96
