This week I mailed a quilt off to my best friend. We met in seventh grade in 1993, so I got to label it from me to her, for our 30 Year Friendiversary. I love the thought that forty years from now someone will find it in a thrift store and think "Gillian and Amy, I bet they were pretty rad."
This is really great information. Thank you! I am hit-or-miss with my labels. I know I should attach them, but that's one of the parts of finishing that I drag my feet on. Thanks for the push!
You are not alone.... I just made a triangle corner label in a quilt, and it went fast with sewing the 2-sides into the binding. The third side of the label I stitched across while I was hand-stitching my binding. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I will keep that in mind for a future video. I used virtually the same method on the pocket prayer quilt backings that held the message. There are 2 Pocket Prayer Quilt videos that show the process. This might help answer some of your questions. When creating a quilt label I do not use a template like I used for the pocket prayer quilt messages. I use Word to create my label and just type away. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Just found your channel. I'm one of those quilters that doesn't label. Yes to a label video.
Welcome....I will keep that in mind for a future video. Thank you for watching and commenting.

I’d really like to know exactly how to use a printer to print on fabric.
