9:31 THANK YOU! Finally. seriously. It needed to be said. To many people hero worship the dead. Yes Senna was great, but he was also dirty. Suzuka.. Michael is Michael but never forget his on track wrecking attempts and dirty fights or even Monaco.
Piastri could have given max more space!? Wow! Piastri was ahead at every single point thru that corner, it was his corner, max was much more aggressive and it was an unnecessary incident due to max
But Piastri was foolish, his choice to stay ahead of Verstappen was unwise. He and Lando's objective was to stay ahead of Ferrari. Verstappen did not matter.
@@Kwik63 you’re basically saying he should do what everyone always does and just let max do whatever he wants. He’s just gonna keep doing it if nobody ever calls him on it
The aftermath was Piastri at the back so Lando has no rear gunner anymore. If Piastri didn't slam the door shut they both could continue with Piastri still rear gunning. Verstappen had nothing left to win or loose.
Really glad to see some folks willing to go against the grain on the Senna quote. Nothing against the man or his memory, but that quote is thrown out *way* too often regardless of context.
No one would suggest that Verstappen is a regular driver to crash. However, when he does crash, it is usually part to a strategy to make another strategic rival driver or a team out of contention, with rarely a fair attitude, and always a commentary to prep his discourse with race control and with his team, as he suffers from a rather poor sense of taking responsibility, which in 'old F1 race courtesy, removes him from Formula one greats, where because of that he only ranks somewhere in between sixth and tenth
Frankly, in the most recent example, Mr Piastri was not at fault but was clearly foolish. They were attempting to win the team championship. Finishing behind Verstappen but ahead of Ferrari was the wise course of action. Further, he then would have avoided his own penalty as well. Mr Piastri definately needs to learn racing wisdom.
@@Kwik63 On the other hand, with this, Piastri also tells Max that he won't respect his reckless divebombs and give him a free overtake. next year, where they may be fighting for the championship, Max may think twice about divebombs from 2 cars back
I cant wait to see Herta in a F1 car. It is the only way we finally get over the nonsense of the expectation around him. The guy cant even dominate Indycar, how would we expect he would perform better in F1. And by "perform better" I dont mean to win races and championship, but to beat a midfield driver, lets say Magnussen.
Charles got more points than Max and Lando because those two were busy fighting each other and compromising their races several times. If Max had been fighting Charles instead of Lando, Lando would have the most points over that period. Clearly McLaren had the best car on average, RB had the best operations, and Ferrari were somewhere in the middle.
Don’t agree with the analysis of the Max 1st corner incident. You can tell that Max could have taken a tighter line. He drove like he was in a sim race. His aggression needs to be sorted.
You guys didn't even talk about Ben Sulayem's lovely white podium dress! Do you think he wore a thong under his dress, or went bold and commando? I love that the podium looked like it was the year 1424.
It is funny how the best team over the past four years gets criticized all the time, and a team like Mercedes are never being discussed while underperforming for three years. It is a bit like Man City being criticized for the last four years while no one was talking about Man Utd.
Q1 Russell impeding Lawson on his hot lap. George was on the racing line on corner entry and no penalty? Lawon's onboard showed it was a slam dunk penalty. It was reviewed but nothing? It reeks of bias because it was George and the victim wasn't british. Especially the week before George got max a penalty when both on out laps? WTF?
“Can Max Verstappen race fairly and still win”?. This kind of sums up the lack of analysis and the overwhelming emotional dislike that typifies Kevin. When he is in the best car, he dominates like in 2023 and second half 2022. When he is in equal machinery, he wins more often than not, like in first half of 2022. When he is an inferior car, he fights agressively against a direct competitor for the championship, trying to find a way to still win. It can be a bit too aggressive, but it is never stupid, because without the aggression he would be loosing out in the slower car anyway, That is what happened in the last four races of 2021, and what happened in some Lando races this year. If Lando and McLaren would have been as good as Max this year, the aggression would not have helped him because the car difference was too big. If the title fight is between the 4 teams, the smartest of Max’ competitors will be the ones that act like him: do not get tangled up in wheel to wheel fights that could cost you at the end. Only fight aggressively when you are the one that would benefit from a crash. I expect someone like George to be too hot headed and full of himself. He is likely to want to show that he is a big boy against Max and maybe also Lewis, and he will end up costing himself unnecessary points. My question would be more: will he find the energy for another 24 race title slog in a car that is usually 2nd, 3rd or 4th fastest?

Ferrari, Prema, Indycar, and F1 have eyes on each other. watch this space.
Blaming Oscar for turn 1 and saying Max wasn’t deserving of a penalty is absolutely stupid 👎🏻
Maxi fangirls never admit it when it's his fault they only blame other drivers.

Ferrari is just returning the favor, remember Ferrari using GM’s MagneRide suspension back when GM owned the rights
