Went to a a mystery draft on Friday and bought a box the first pack I opened was mana crypt. The one card I really wanted from this set and I got it in the first pack I’m so happy

I had one with three whites. Noticed it cause the second white was upside down. Super strange to see.
16:17 I literally opened that exact same pack, aura shards then desolation twins with a foil aurelia’s fury, now I’m wondering if there is a pattern to there packs or certain rares and foils more likely to be opened together... just seems like a huge coincidence
there has to be because i got the pack with expropriate carpet and spike feeder
I opened a pack that was an exact duplicate with ther time sieve
I saw a pack opened on Alpha investments I believe that had the same rares as the Sen triplets pack
We did a draft of this last night and I pulled Sen Triplets. Such a fun set to crack!

These mystery box look so awesome, I was on the fence about then but watching them be opened makes me want to by a box and draft mystery boosters .
Lol, my box had that total value of both in my last pack. Mana vault, sen triplets and demonic tutor. I dont think I'll ever open a more valuable pack of cards again.

Retail prices have jumped about 20-30% here in Can. Most were charging $149 at first. I found one online shop that sold for 129. I bought 2. Next day every shop put prices up $20. Day after another $10-$20 increase. Now theyre all sold out.
Anyone know if theres going to be a resupply to retailers in the future, or was this a one and done shipment like the collector boxes?
I heard it was supposed to be an "unlimited supply" for this entire year. I think the fact that it was underestimated how popular it would be, as well as this global pandemic is currently effecting the supply at the moment. One of my Local game stores sold out at $150 and instantly upped the price to $200 per box. Pure greed im my opinion considering other stores only raid their prices around $10-$20

I got a Bbox and pulled teferi's puzzle box, marrow gnawer, the black and white flip cards, one with nothing, 2 deso twin, 2 vigor, liliana death's majesty, teferi commander and a few others. My fave is definitely puzzle box although it isnt worth much its a beautiful foil- almost looks 3D.😊

OP of Panglacial foil is ~$13. Not bad, all of these suppressed prices will rise. It has happened with Ultimate Masters and the rest. Look at Mana Vault now, it's almost doubled since reprint.

I like to play mini-master booster games where the winner takes the opponents booster pack. Repeat as necessary until all packs are used.
Bought 2 boxes when they came out.. 1st box had 5 back to back foil mythics in the top of the left column. 2nd box.. 0 foil mythics. Also pulled 3 foil Amulet of Vigor and 3 foil Harmonic Sliver between the 2.
REPRINTS!!!! As a passionate EDH player I am so happy that these needed reprints have been crashing in price! I can finally afford some of these EDH staples! Sweet buttery Jesus!

I bought a mystery box and drafted with 3 friends on the weekend. Friend packed Mana Crypt in his draft packs. Never thought I'd yell so loud over a card.
They should make mystery box collector boxes and it would be awesome if they went up couple packs in the collectors

The northern lights have nothing to do with the cold... it's because it's close to the north where solar winds are ripping past the atmosphere. But yeah, I believe Northern lights was the name you're looking for.
It would be an aurora. Solar wind interacting with the magnetic poles. Happens in the south too, the southern lights.

I bought 10 packs at my LGS and pulled 2 mana crypts, sen triplets , bloom tender , 2 collective brutality’s, and a foil helix pinnacle ! Those packs were 🔥🔥

My best pulls are from these are old purphurous and animar. And a ton of random stuff for my edh decks

it is increasing cause when they came out in canada the box was 147$ now they are 227$ in a span of 1 week
I can get them for $132 at my LGS. Going to have to get some more

got 12 mythics in my box, and a demonic tutor in an uncommon slot. Boy these boxes are way more exciting to open than masters packs for half the price.

Do you use the original set value, or the mystery box value? I have seen both online but I’m not sure it’s possible to tell most of them apart because of the original set symbols.

Honestly I'm glad for a price crash. This was basically reprints and usually reprints aren't worth much. I'm just glad I got a few commander staples in my box and that's it.

Fun story... someone at my first draft of this set pulled it off to get a turn 4 myojin, into a turn 5 stompage with an eldrazi 9/10 or something and some other big boys... it was brutal

Bought my first and probably only mystery booster box today....the highest value card in the entire box was worth $5...I got absolutely hosed with the entire box to the point that I began thinking I had to have bought a box that was searched and repacked, but opening the boosters seemed normal, unlike resealed packs....it just seems like this booster box has a high ceiling, but also a very low floor for value, I just had insanely terrible luck

I bought a box of throne last night and the store had one mystery box left. I regret not buying the mystery box so hard. Ugh. So regret buying throne. The value isn’t there to buy a box where as this is so worth it.

These boxes are horrible. Bought 4 boxes and pulled no mana crypts, no rhystic, no teferi protection, no carpet of flowers. It was super depressing, almost went as sold my collection out of frustration.

Maybe it didn't land for your, but everyone and their mother that plays this game knows what an evolving wilds is. I don't know what to tell you if you genuinely assumed a channel where their primary content is opening up mtg cards didn't know what an evolving wilds was. That card has basically been printed in every modern set, and Joey probably owns like thousands of them if he hasn't already built a small house out of all of his copies.

Also they DEFINITELY did not mix em up. I got virtually that exact same pack with the taurean mauler (same rares and foils at least). WotC is a buncha bums... can't even randomize booster packs
