Its been years since I've poured into a colander and this mini little thing was the cutest!!! So I had to buy it and do it! I was hoping for a cute star design but alas not happening! This video contains two pours so be sure to keep watching!

You totally solved my issue. Last weekend I tried this with the exact strainer and I got mud. My layers were too thin. I am going to try this again with thicker layers. Gorgeous composition. I love watching you create!

Here’s a funny for you Sarah. My hubby pulled out a bird feeder of the closest and said “weren’t you going to paint with this”. 😂 yes, Sarah Mack inspired me like 4yrs ago with one she did and I obviously got distracted with all the other tools. I tried a colander pour today, scraped it, poured again tried to blow it out and scraped it again. I had to walk away. Now I’m tempted to go back up and just whatever I get, I get.

I really like this kind of art work. There are so many differences and whatever one wants to make in any colors is wonderful.

Hi Jane, thank you! I’m still figuring out the colors we will be using (but I’m leaning towards this color combo approx). With that said the canvas size will be 16”x16” and you will have the option to leave them to dry and they will ship them to you!

I was wondering about the canvas. It has two bumps in separate corners but you have not said anything. Will the canvas flatten out with the paint?

Takes the bubbles out, if there are any.

Barely any actual paint is used when mixed with fluid medium
What do you use to thin out the paint? Will water work?

I really love the first one. I have a question…. What if you don't want to get cells? Do you just thin with water and no pouring medium?
Don’t use any satin enamel or deco art metallics. Use medium

Please someone to understand what it means to use the wood stick to swirl through the paint. I'm new and still learning. Thank you for a response.
Hi! In the cup it is used to mix the paint with the pouring medium. On a canvas, a stick can be used to create more patterns.

This paint doesn't get wasted the artist will collect it and reuse it.
It doesn't get wasted, it gets repurposed into making magnets and jewelry

It was fine…it was sprayed and just had not fully restretched. I spray all my canvases.
