Aside from cancer and HIV is one of the worst diseases and I heard someone mention on TV back in 1985 or 1986 that to get HIV you have to go out and look for it. I was 18 years old and thought that was a bunch of hogwash! People were so homophobic and so hateful towards the gay and bisexual community and I’m a Christian but I’m not judge mental and nobody sits higher than God. The self-righteousness of so many irritated me and getting HIV was everybody’s concern and even the Reagan administration didn’t do much about it until rock Hudson died. Being a fellow actor, President Reagan did donate some money to the treatment of Treatment of HIV but they really didn’t have much or any treatment then they were just doing research and that’s what they donated to the Center for disease control but their funds were still short until 1992 when Bill Clinton was elected. I’m not saying Bill Clinton was the best president but he was pretty good despite his in discrepancies😳😳 he was a good president economically and even left office with a 65% approval rating after being impeached but not being kicked out of office and that’s pretty good with compared to most presidents. When I heard that bigoted statement on TV about how someone had to go out looking for HIV and AIDS because it was a gay disease , STD, etc & intravenous drug users, Totally left out the part about hemophiliacs that had been given HIV tainted blood in the 1970s and 80s because they did not start testing and clearing out the blood supply until 1985. Isn’t It ironic that that’s the year rock Hudson died? Women were getting it from their husbands that were cheating on them or work closet bisexuals. &. Then these women would get pregnant and give it to their babies through pregnancy. It was heartbreaking and every time I heard someone that was a bigot talk about it it broke my heart. He could hear something on the radio and go straight to piano and play it perfectly by ear and when his aunt heard him do that in India when he was going to boarding school and visited her,, His aunt wrote his mom in God and told them what Freddie was doing and said that he could play perfectly by ear on the piano and that he should have lessons so that he could learn how to read music and played the way most people would because if he were to become pianist, he would have to be able to read music. His mom and dad allowed him to have piano lessons when he was around nine years old and he was incredible on the piano!! That voice is one in 1 million and there Was nobody before him or since him that ever had that God-given voice and like the divine messenger and would grab people in the crowd and pull them into the band like they were at one with the band. Never seen anything like it and Freddie Mercury was by far the best front man!! I was watching poll taken by some rolling stone bowl crap and they listed John Deacon as being number nine in the top 10 of the best bass players, Brian May was given honorable mention as far as being one of the best guitar players. Really??? Brian May is every bit as good if not better than Eddie Van Halen!! My best friend is a van Halen nut, time and she would totally disagree but Van Halen pretty much does three types of music we are queen had 8 to 10 different styles of music or more and that’s what I loved about them- their versatility. Roger Taylor was listed number five of the top 10 singing drummers and Phil Collins was number one and even though I love Phil Collins and especially “in the heat of the night”- overall Roger Taylor is a better vocalist and every bit as good of a drum player. The best drummer was the drummer for Led Zeppelin by far and there was no other like him and he was a drummer like Freddie Mercury as a front man and vocalist. That’s why Led Zeppelin disbanded when John Bowman died in 1980. Freddie Mercury placed second I’m on top 10 front man vocalists. I really do like Led Zeppelin but I don’t think there any where near the caliber of queen and Robert Plant has a good voice but Freddie Mercury has a God-given moist and plus Freddie Mercury was a bit or showman without being all sexy about it because Robert Plant was considered sexy by many women some women thought Freddie Mercury was gorgeous and I thought he was cute as a button, but his hair was beautiful before he got it all cut off because it was black and wavy. I totally disagree with they are ratings but that was Rolling Stone nonsense. I’m still freaking over Friday being number two and Brian getting honorable mention what Brian May was & still is absolutely incredible!! He’s every bit as good as Jimmy page but just has a different style..

Wow just a big wow. Even say 80% he’s is freaking awesome. Even though his face is rounder from the meds and he had the beard and sleeves to hide the scars and sores from the disease so it doesn’t look like the Freddie we are used to his voice and charisma just can not be quashed. Three years and I was turning up the stereo full blast in the mustang six months pregnant with my baby girl. I’m surprised that she wasn’t born deaf because every time I heard this song on the Car stereo wires full speed ahead! This was the best comeback song after being out for three years but they needed a break after that magic tour because Britttany was getting so sick and everybody was stressed out John was so pissed off and brought the last concert night he threw his bass guitar into the speaker at the very end of the concert. He was just stressed out from being on tour and being away from his family and his six kids & wife💯😂 he was drinking too much when he was performing and there’s a video of him throwing that guitar into the speaker or I never would’ve believed it because he was always silly and the quiet or one. After he was with the band about three or four years he definitely had his word to you and he wasn’t so quiet like he was in the earlier years because he had to fit in with the band at first. By the time they did the night at the opera and he wrote you’re my best friend, which was another song are really like, he definitely had his say. The bandit want it to be on the B side and Roger locked himself in the pantry and wouldn’t come out until they agreed to have it put on the B side of the 45 single😂😂😂 .I really love that song and I don’t know why the guys were bitching about it but it’s a good song and he wrote it about his roadie that had bought an alpha Romeo and the guy was absolutely in love with his car.😂😂

He left that stuff to Brian for the most part and John because they were the best and better than him😂 This band amazes me and how they were friends and family overtime and how they stuck together. When they toured Australia in 1973 Brian got gangrene and then on their maiden tour to the USA in 1974 Brian woke up one morning with hepatitis and had to go back to England halfway through their tour with Mott the Hoople. It’s ironic that I have never heard of that band but I’ve heard of queen even though queen was their side band even though Mott the Hoople was the major band. I was born in 1967 and no up all of that music but I can’t think of a song by that band during Brian‘s recovery from a tight as he also had a bleeding stomach Hasler and he was still afraid that the bandmembers were going to replace him and they told him “no never!” They went into the studio when they were working on the music so when Brian was feeling better he could come back in and do his part. That’s when they came out with Bohemian Rhapsody!!! So it goes to show they stuck together during Brian‘s severe illness and then 20+ years later and they all stuck together as a crew through Freddie Mercury‘s illness and untimely death.
it threw me over when I read that after Tim Staffell left Smile, Brian, Roger and Freddie were running around together for months, and the two didn't even know that Freddie could sing. He must have developed that in his closet.
Personally, I don't listen so much to these "rock songs" of the 80's, but everytime I hear one, I think, hey, it's good. It must have been exhausting for Freddie to move around like this. But it all looked good, and hid his real condition. His very last video was for "These are the Days of our Lives", I can't watch it without tears, his goodbye always gets me. Yes, as far as I know, his later second wife Anita Dobson said this after Live Aid. From that point on, Brian struggeled a lot with ending the first marriage and starting his current marriage. The song "Too much love will kill you" is about that. But he is married with Anita for so long now, they are really a wonderful pair.
FlyingCloud yes!! Another beautiful tearjerking song by Queen. They had the best music and I love their versatility! They played heavy rock and progressive rock along with Frank and ballads and operatic sounds. John Deacon made an amplifier and he could make Brian Mays guitar sound like an orchestra and it was the coolest thing. I wonder how much that thing would sell for if they ever tried to sell it? I know the band will ever get rid of it and I will probably be put in a queen studio one day for everybody to tour. That’s what’s going to happen to Freddie Mercury‘s house after Mary Austin has had it for 50 years or if she passes whichever comes 1st.

They used the soft light, the beard, and the long sleeved buttoned up shirt to hide the lesions that were beginning to show. If you noticed, he didn't move around as much as usual, and his voice sounds a bit thinner than normal. But still a great performance and wonderful song!
Gayla Jens no he did not move around as much as usual probably because he had a bad sore on his leg and his foot which required half of his foot to be amputated- but I’m not sure when he had the surgery. I was just aware of it and he didn’t even tell the band that he had aids until after this album was released and they pretty much knew but nobody said anything but yet when he finally told them it just made them all sick because they had confirmation that what they kind of thought since 1986 tour is true. Brittany looked awesome in this video and even with a little bit of a beard I thought he looked pretty hot despite the fact I don’t like facial hair. He looks like he lost 10 pounds but anybody could do that with the flu.I think this is a good look on him and I like this look better than with the mustache alone But I was heartbroken when he cut off all of his hair and grew a mustache because he was so beautiful from the mid-70s and had this long black wavy hair that looked perfect! Even in the “somebody to love”video, his hair was shorter but he still had this perfect wavy black hair. . I was just so excited when this song came out and after not hearing anything for three years!! When I heard those vocals and combine harmonies , I knew immediately that it was clean and then I heard Brian‘s guitar but those vocals just came through and hit me right on and I was in the car coming home from work and I turned that stereo up full blast. It was the best come back song I think I’ve ever heard ! Brian & Freddie’s vocals together were beautiful ,as well as that guitar and drum playoff with Brian, John and Roger. Absolutely cool. But what grabbed me most was the power the energy and those harmonies❤️❤️ John Deacon didn’t sing on the albums but he did sing on concert and I’ve heard him on a TH-cam video singing with Freddy in concert. John Deacon could sing quite well and he was just self-conscious.

I remember that Peter Freestone wrote about that somewhere. haha It also took me some time to accustom to the moustache.
Actually Brian and Roger both said his voice was a little thinner at first because he'd quit smoking and drinking. It wasn't until later his voice got really thin because he just couldn't project his voice like he used to.
My husband Freddie yeah Freddie was really sick here he didn't even want to do a video but he did anyway and the beard he grew was suggested by his husband Jim to grow as to hide the sores that were growing on his face I said before you should react to the show must go on that's a good one it's a winter's tale is the last song Freddie wrote these are the days of our lives is the last video Freddie done and mother love is the last song Freddie sung he didn't even finish the song Brian sang last verse because Freddie said he was tired and he'll finish the song some other time but he never came back to the studio
Teresa Anderson I thought he looked pretty good then but maybe 10 pounds lighter and he wasn’t moving around as much but he still looked fine and he had a little bit of facial scruff which looked good even though I don’t like facial hair. It looked a lot better than the last that alone.
This was actually one of there later videos and Freddie was ill at this time. He was getting dermal fillers to make his face look less gaunt and the shirt tie and beard he was sporting were to cover up the skin legions that were starting to appear on his body and his thin appearance. It doesn't seem like he's ill at all because of the energy he was putting out in the video but according to Brian(guitarist) it was very difficult for him to do this video and he was squeezing every last bit of energy out of himself. Scandal is another of those songs: I don't listen to it often, but everytime I listen to it, I think about how really great the vocals are. It's about the press (mainly the British) who hunted Queen over the years. Especially they were on to Freddie, always critical and sarcastic, very rarely appreciating. They really made Freddie's life harder.

But he is married with Anita for so long now, they are really a wonderful pair.
FlyingCloud yes!! Another beautiful tearjerking song by Queen. They had the best music and I love their versatility! They played heavy rock and progressive rock along with Frank and ballads and operatic sounds. John Deacon made an amplifier and he could make Brian Mays guitar sound like an orchestra and it was the coolest thing. I wonder how much that thing would sell for if they ever tried to sell it? I know the band will ever get rid of it and I will probably be put in a queen studio one day for everybody to tour. That’s what’s going to happen to Freddie Mercury‘s house after Mary Austin has had it for 50 years or if she passes whichever comes 1st.
I thought this song was absolutely awesome and so much power and I knew it was them even after three years of not hearing a new song when I first heard it because of their harmonies!!

I often wondered, that they only have one guitar instead of the normal band setup with one rhythm guitar and one lead guitar, and still the guitar sound is so full, you never miss anything. So it might be a contribution of the fabulous amp...
They used the soft light, the beard, and the long sleeved buttoned up shirt to hide the lesions that were beginning to show. If you noticed, he didn't move around as much as usual, and his voice sounds a bit thinner than normal. But still a great performance and wonderful song!
Gayla Jens no he did not move around as much as usual probably because he had a bad sore on his leg and his foot which required half of his foot to be amputated- but I’m not sure when he had the surgery. I was just aware of it and he didn’t even tell the band that he had aids until after this album was released and they pretty much knew but nobody said anything but yet when he finally told them it just made them all sick because they had confirmation that what they kind of thought since 1986 tour is true. Brittany looked awesome in this video and even with a little bit of a beard I thought he looked pretty hot despite the fact I don’t like facial hair. He looks like he lost 10 pounds but anybody could do that with the flu.I think this is a good look on him and I like this look better than with the mustache alone But I was heartbroken when he cut off all of his hair and grew a mustache because he was so beautiful from the mid-70s and had this long black wavy hair that looked perfect! Even in the “somebody to love”video, his hair was shorter but he still had this perfect wavy black hair. .
I was just so excited when this song came out and after not hearing anything for three years!! When I heard those vocals and combine harmonies , I knew immediately that it was clean and then I heard Brian‘s guitar but those vocals just came through and hit me right on and I was in the car coming home from work and I turned that stereo up full blast. It was the best come back song I think I’ve ever heard ! Brian & Freddie’s vocals together were beautiful ,as well as that guitar and drum playoff with Brian, John and Roger. Absolutely cool. But what grabbed me most was the power the energy and those harmonies❤️❤️ John Deacon didn’t sing on the albums but he did sing on concert and I’ve heard him on a TH-cam video singing with Freddy in concert. John Deacon could sing quite well and he was just self-conscious.
@@montereyharris1277 I don't think he had surgery on his foot, but he had wounds on the foot and calf that never healed, they came from the radiation therapy against the sarcomas. I remember that Peter Freestone wrote about that somewhere.
haha It also took me some time to accustom to the moustache.
Actually Brian and Roger both said his voice was a little thinner at first because he'd quit smoking and drinking. It wasn't until later his voice got really thin because he just couldn't project his voice like he used to.
My husband Freddie yeah Freddie was really sick here he didn't even want to do a video but he did anyway and the beard he grew was suggested by his husband Jim to grow as to hide the sores that were growing on his face I said before you should react to the show must go on that's a good one it's a winter's tale is the last song Freddie wrote these are the days of our lives is the last video Freddie done and mother love is the last song Freddie sung he didn't even finish the song Brian sang last verse because Freddie said he was tired and he'll finish the song some other time but he never came back to the studio

Teresa Anderson I thought he looked pretty good then but maybe 10 pounds lighter and he wasn’t moving around as much but he still looked fine and he had a little bit of facial scruff which looked good even though I don’t like facial hair. It looked a lot better than the last that alone.

This was actually one of there later videos and Freddie was ill at this time. He was getting dermal fillers to make his face look less gaunt and the shirt tie and beard he was sporting were to cover up the skin legions that were starting to appear on his body and his thin appearance. It doesn't seem like he's ill at all because of the energy he was putting out in the video but according to Brian(guitarist) it was very difficult for him to do this video and he was squeezing every last bit of energy out of himself.

Scandal is another of those songs: I don't listen to it often, but everytime I listen to it, I think about how really great the vocals are. It's about the press (mainly the British) who hunted Queen over the years. Especially they were on to Freddie, always critical and sarcastic, very rarely appreciating. They really made Freddie's life harder.
