I was struggling with anxiety and intrusive thoughts and this video calmed me down. It actually came up in my suggested feed today right when I needed it.
As I fall asleep I feel like crying. I have so much to be grateful, yet moments of happiness are hard to find anymore; and finding happiness about my own self is even harder. The kids have grown and moved on, and the grandkids are half the continent away. I live in a seniors building and everyone just talks about ailments, medications, growing old and dying; and there’s always someone dying. I do my best to walk the ‘straight and narrow’. I’m unfulfilled.
Be Still in God’s Love and Glory. Know that you are Not “alone”. Stay close to God and be fulfilled in Him. This is an amazing way to be close to God and is a great companion to your bible. Be “Fulfilled” in God.
Prayers of strength over you, meditate in your secret place. That place where you speak and only the Lord hears. He is your perfect peace that promise never to leave you or forsake you. His mercy is new every morning and right now it is fortifying your mind, spirit and body. Shalom♥️
I am not unfamiliar with the pain you are sharing. It's similar but unique in it's own way. I am praying into Jesus and staying in the Word. Praying for Him to draw you closer to Him.
