    The Chile and grape jelly meatballs were an appetizer staple in our house growing up. So good!

    Tip on removing air with frozen meats….seal the bag except for the corner, put the bag in water up one inch from the seal and close the corner

    When my kids were little I pureed all the veggies and added to meatloaf, casseroles, etc. They never knew. LOL. Congrats on the grandbaby. I just got my first grandbaby a couple months ago. Besides my hubby and children, this baby is the best thing ever!!! Oh she has my heart!

    You can put the full bag in a sink of water to help get the air out. We used to do that growing up.

    A quick way to mix the jelly & chili sauce is to use a whisk or potato masher, just a helpful tip 💞

    Mazel tov on your new grandbaby! I am always trying to figure out what extra veggies to add to recipes just because we get ours so cheap! Finely chopped celery carrot and onion work with most things, bok choy or cabbage will work with your teriyaki chicken, diced sweet potato will be delicious with your sticky chicken! Don't worry about the lack of veg, they are easy to adapt!

    You inspired me to do some freezer meals before my 2nd baby was born last Thursday 💙 I cut it very fine and made them all the day before he was born with the help of my sister! He came 11 days early so it was really good luck we got them done! It has been a lifetime saver having food ready to go 💖 good luck to gravely gracelynn, I hope all goes well her and baby ❤

    What a Gouda vlog ( pun intended haha). My mom had picky eaters, me included. She taught me to puree onion, garlic, and veggies. So, when the recipe calls for the ingredient just add the puree. You get the the necessary ingredient without seeing the ingredient. My mom always said "it's all in how you can hide it if you can. What we kids didn't see wouldn't hurt us." I also use onion and garlic powder when I can. Veggie broth or juice comes in handy too. Now, Chilli, that's an awesome ingredient. Love it over rice and spaghetti. Even on bake potatoes or tater tots. And let's not forget gut busters. Yum ( Chilli on top of frittos corn chips or chilli cheese corn chips, shredded cheese and some like a dollop of sour cream) It's great has a dip too. It's definitely versatile staple. Thank you for the recipes and understanding the picky eater syndrome. Congratulations on the grandbaby. Prayers for a happy healthy pregnancy and birth to your daughter. I myself have 6 grandchildren and Love it....

      Those are great chili ideas! Thanks for sharing them. Over the years, I made a lot of pumpkin muffins, zucchini muffins, rhubarb muffins, etc. because that was the only way I could get fruits or veggies into her. It's a good thing she and I can laugh about it now.
      Yes, I am so excited to be a gramma! I know I'm going to love it.

    I'm more determined than ever to get my backup deep freezer repaired. My goal is to fill it full of freezer meals, I'm hoping to do at least 4 months worth 🤞(if I can do 6 months, even better!) I'm hoping for a minimum of 4 months breakfast, lunch AND dinner so we will see...it will definitely be an experience to get it all done (hoping to do it all in less than a 2 week time span)

    Have u ever made meals in 9x13 pans. or make and freeze single serve meals. or frozen breakfast food. Breakfast sandwich freezer food. I seen Becky on acre homestead freezer meals. Just asking I mean well ❤️what u do

    • @FreezerMeals101
      @FreezerMeals101  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Karen, we sometimes make meals in 9x13 pans, but for me, they take up too much freezer space, so I prefer to use bags when I can. For some things like enchiladas or pasta bakes, the trays are the only way to freeze them well though so I do use the pans for those.
      I often make single serve meals for my mother-in-law and my dad. You can find some of those here: th-cam.com/video/1dd9nBIK_nQ/w-d-xo.html
      I do breakfast food often. I especially love things that are grab and go! You can find lots of breakfast freezer food videos on our channel. Here's one: th-cam.com/video/l3vWT5sRxFk/w-d-xo.html

      If I want to make something in a 9x13 I dont have a dozen 9x13 pans like becky...so I line my pans with foil...freeze them...and then pop them out the next day wrap and secure...so you can get your pan back and only use a few pans to make a bunch of 9x13 casseroles
