Another tip that you didn't mention, after barricading a door you can put your spikes so that one side is sticking out side while protecting the core on the inside. This means that if an enemy team wanted to punch down a door they have to take damage from your spikes
Sounds horrible, but they'll probably just blow up the door at that point

Here’s another tip I’ve found useful. When in a fight you can use her ult to separate the enemy team, allowing your team to focus one or two people. Divide and conquer.

Catalyst is really fun, but I do think she needs some slight (sliiiiight) buffs. It feels like we were promised an “anti-scan” legend and instead got a “bunker defense” legend. Even just making the wall work against Seer’s ultimate would make a huge difference. But I’m still going to main her this season.

Seer actually wanted to get the games to Boreas to open job positions and overall help the planet but Silva got the games to Cleo without Seer knowing and now Catalyst has misunderstood Seer.
Played catalyst for a bit, found it best to use her tactical on stairs so that the ferrofluid goes down the stairs instead of blocking a small amount of space

There is another tips for her tactics. Since the spike ball's hit box so huge, she can actually hide behind the ball in some situations and it might be life saving :)

Off topic but I find it so interesting with how many different sexualities there are in apex (not in a bad way) Most games that have lgbtq characters usually only have one and that’s it, but apex is so different. For one, Valkyrie, Gibby, And Bangalore are all homosexual. I never seen games with more than one homosexual. Fuse and Seer being pansexual. I think this is the first time I’ve seen pansexual representation. Loba being bisexual. She has a special place in my heart as a bisexual myself🫶. Bloodhound being non-binary. I’ve seen little of representation for non-binary people, and bloodhound being non-binary makes so much sense to me. Mirage questioning his sexuality. That one brings me sm joy because I NEVER see representation for people who are questioning. It’s such a nice detail. Catalyst being trans (mtf) That makes me so happy too. I remember finding out and being so happy. Apex does so well with lgbtq representation. It’s honestly one of the main reasons I love the game. I can relate to these characters on such a personal level now

Catalyst’s ability feel very… (ferro) fluid lmao I’m just not sure what to use what when so it feels clunky now. But I think she has one of the more fun gameplay loops of recent legends

Oh my, I hadn't even considered having Catalyst, Caustic and Watson held up in bunker... 😯. Her wall might be long enough to stretch the whole main hallway down the stairs.
What if they had made it so her Ferro fluid would conduct the charge from Watson fences, like, if you have the door barricaded, and have the fence behind it, when you open the door into the fence, the fence doesn't destroy the Ferro fluid covered door it just kinda lets it pass through as if the door wasn't blocking it. That would be insane. But super awesome and probably kinda niche use.

Question to those who know, what exactly does the flag that Macro used for Fuse and Seer mean? I don’t remember seeing it before and I’ve never really been sure where their orientations lie.
That's the pansexual flag, similar to bisexuality, its a label people use to say that they're fine with dating anyone regardless of their gender identity, whilst bisexuality tends to date a handful of people.
Though, labels vary per person, I'm personally in favour of calling myself bisexual as that's what's more comfortable for me, and I feel like I'd be fine with dating people regardless of their gender (Thiugh I've only dated men, women and nonbinary people)
