Health secretary ‘optimistic’ about talks with junior doctors

Wes Streeting, the health secretary, met junior doctors in an effort to end their dispute over pay. The BMA said afterwards it had no immediate plans to call for strike action and describe the meeting as positive.

Just remember the last time New Labour/Bliar caved in to the Doctors Union's demand for more money..... after the deal the Docs cut their working hours with the result that Hospitals had to employ locums from EU and overseas to run the weekend service. The was an expensive solution?
