$70M Ferrari 250 GTO Driving in London!!

1962 Ferrari 250 GTO currently owned by Lord Bamford of JCB, worth in excess of $70 million, being driven in London. This car is chassis #3767GT. Originally delivered to David Piper and finished in BP Green, the car was raced throughout the 1960s and beyond. Just incredible to see and hear this car on the road, in honour of Alain De Cadenet.

This colour is so iconic in Ferrari's racing history, it's amazing how Piper Verde is not part of marque's standard road car colour palette.

My old man had a chance to buy one of these in the late '60's for £3500, I remember asking why he didn't buy it ( this was a few years ago when I asked him this), his reply " Well our first house was £3000" .

Lots of racecars are or were rhd including GTO.
It's to do with most circuits running clockwise so there are more right hand turns and being rhd makes it easier to hit the apex correctly

I understand that the car is immensely valuable but it needs a good blowout! Why spend that much to stick it in a trailer when you need to go over 20 miles?
