    You cannot change the way someone treats you, you just be calm and don’t react to the situations. Eventually the other person involved will change knowing this is not working! I have learned the hard way. This includes everyone in your life. No one is perfect, have no expectations.

      It seems like such a sad way to approach life. A lonely way. Why not avoid starting with any attempt to change anyone, and when they treat you badly, see and acknowledge the anger or disappointment, then continue on with life. 🤷🏽‍♀️. Carry on smartly😌

    "Falling in love" is just that. Falling down in your emotional status. Everything looks, even negative qualities, glamorous in the object of your love. Don't "fall' in love. In stead rise in the glory of love. Think about it.

    Relationships starts with needs involved, relationships will look bad when your needs are not met. There is only existence and you have to look after your own needs. You can share your life with someone, but everyone will change keep that in mind. Look good after yourself, so you see and do everything out of an act of love. ❤❤❤

    Satguru here is talking about "projection". How we project our negative qualities on to a partner or someone else who is sometimes disagreeable. This is an extremely superficial exercise which creates "personal islands". This is a defensive psychic phenomenon.
    That's why always concentrate on yourself. Charity begins at home.

His speech encourages me to challange myself everyday to be vegillant not come down of my level of sweetness, and to keep climbing onto the next ladder and so on, as high as I can climb. when I stayed on a high level of perseption. I feel life flowing positively and I experience the sweetness of life. when I come down I expirience my own stupidity making my life miserable. No matter if somebody else is causing problems. life doesn't stop for anyone even you shouldn't, you should move on with your life,never hold back, never get attached too much to somebody because the moment you start giving everything to one person is when the person feels burden. Later, it becomes difficult for anyone to sustain. Love will never teach you to compromise on your self respect.

    I consider myself a good person but I've realized when I am going through illness or a lot of bad situations in my life I tend to treat my closest family members in a bad way I don't hate him i love them but its my anger with myself that gets me like that and i know is wrong. What i am trying to say is when someone is nasty with you is because they are not happy with there own life and situation sometimes is not even about you so the best strategy is to get away from them or confront them letting them know that they must work to fix the things that are bothering them and that you will help them if needed.

    *Sadhguru* - In marriages,there are divergent expectations.The woman expects the man to change.The man expects the woman to never change.

    • @cactaceous
      @cactaceous 4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Truth. Only when a woman truly chooses a mate for who he is without future expectations, will marriage be a happy union. In the West marriage only is a happy one, 1/4 times. 2/4 end in divorce and the other 1/4 live lovelessly together only due to financial strain. Not good odds because of expectations. Women in the West expect too much. Instead of loving the man for who he is, they see it as a work in progress and demand he change to her progress liking.

      Only when men will start seeing their privileges & finally will start sharing some real family/ household furies at par women...stop being insecured of women...stop making fun of their wives to justify their perverted biases...a marriage can he peaceful, successful & their children can get a better atmosphere to grow up as stronger human beings...
      Not in just west, even in the East... most men have been way too nasty shamelessly, all over the world...the biggest problem is men are unapologetic about their nastiness but expect women to stay all moral & ethical otherwise will call them names without any makes equivalent of those.

    • @barnaliadhikary9421
      @barnaliadhikary9421 4 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      The fact is when men get changed after marriage, it's the woman's fault the man is the victim.., but when a woman who was so sweet before marriage becomes a fury to the same man after marriage, is all her fault...the man had no role to play to transform her in this way .... again the man is the victim...
      That's the outlook of our society..

    I went spiritual way to calm myself..just telling my mind.. but practically, I decided one day that enough is enough I will not cry and I will do what I do normally and will not think get bothered about troubles..although the troubles are real. I kept going about my life without changing my behaviour...I did what I thought was right and waited until he realised that I am not the villain in his life.. I cried for 7 years, waited for things to change and they changed in another 3 years..
    Today he doesn't behave rudely with me.. He tries to help me around.. He is nice with me.. I never gave up my self-respect nor I agreed with him on irrational arguments. I just keep quiet when he took the direction of irrationality.. So 10 years of marriage..10 years of struggle..

I didnt try any tricks.. I just did not accept anything that is not true and stood for my self-respect and remained silent.. stood my ground..
      Later I realized that many psychologists actually prescribe this approach.. Recently I heard Jordan Peterson on a show saying if you didnt do or say anything wrong, dont apologize.. wait for 2 weeks and it will go..

      'Sadhana' (@ Practice) is always the key !.
      All of us have to overcome our difficulties in a rational manner, which can come after relentless 'Sadhana' !.
      'Sadhana' is indeed difficult, and it is mentioned so in the Gita and all our Scriptures, but isn't learning always difficult to comprehend initially, till you work hard, and are able to relate it to experience !.
      || Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam || translates (in my limited opinion) to Perfect Action, in the mode of Detachment to the Action per se, is real competency !.

      Can you try this expt yourself
      You are rational enough to understand the function of mirror
      You. Know when light is all around what you see inside the mirror is your alter image
      What is your right hand is left hand inside the mirror
      Perceive your reflection in mirror is simple you inside, call it as s he
      Ie a mere echo box
      Like echoing when you shout loud on the peak of mountain
      Ie all

    I believe in reincarnation because of Edgar Cayce. It solved all my questions. Delores Cannon said we make packs with the people in our lives before we come back here. It made me forgive my husband and realize I was not a victim but a co- creator and not blameless even though I had no clue how. I felt so much peace by dropping the blame game. We are here to improve our lives because we need the experiences.

Neither or us are right or wrong. Then I just smile which is percieved by her as mocking her...hahah even though it's the total opposite.

    At 9:41 no sadh guruji you are wrong the child can understand mother’s touch, the child can have some feelings for her mother coz even if you fulfil the child’s needs then also child will miss his/her mother! That’s attachment is love!
    Anybody can feed and carry a child whole day and love the child whole day still a child misses her/his mom!! I worked in childcare and this is my observation!! That is love!! I observed guruji you always be little love in any possible way!! If you don’t believe in love that doesn’t mean love doesn’t exist!!

    Sadhguru, if everything happening around us when people behave badly with us, do we still see those people with love and compassion by changing our perspective? Does it mean there is no quality of ugly people in anyone? Is no one bad? Before marriage actually we don't actually know the basic nature of the opposite which we can only know after living life and spending more time with them. Does it mean we have to ignore for what they do to us and let them do it? This is so tricky to understand. Please elaborate more in detail and help us understanding the way you explains. Thank you🙏
