- At the Bang Luang Floating market you will find this nice quiet and relaxed temple, Wat Kampang Bangchak. I really liked how quiet it was and felt that I was transported out of Bangkok to some temple in the mountains up North.
Easy to get to with the Blue MRT, just take the train to Bang Pai station.

Suansamunpaithai = Thai herbal garden in the middle of the video. The main chapel (Ubosot) is used for daily chant as well as ordaining monk/novice. Its ceiling is usually high to make for cooling interior. Practically all ubosots feature wall painting depicting mostly about the Lord Buddha's life journey. The painting in front features Lord Buddha's walking posture (Pang Leela).

This Wat was built in Ayutthaya era. That's why it looks quite old.

Not many people know the difference, Even Thais. You have a very good knowledge of architectural style (for example, the MRT station).
Thai temples are built in similar design,,from the once I pray do look the same if I’m honest,,
Is it known how many temples are in Bangkok? It must be thousands I think.

what did you mean by “finding this kind of temple in chiangrai or chaingmai” if in the context of exclusion then yes ,but if in the context of architectural perspective then no. The central thai and the northern thai has a very different style when it comes to traditional buildings such as temples like these.
