Who Should I React To Next ?
Guns and Roses " Paradise City "
OMG NOOOO. You didn't do the one with the poem at the end late Lament. This one just cut off and didn't even have the closing by the Orchestra. . This is the way we heard when it came out. ...The Moody Blues - Nights In White Satin/Late Lament (Original 1967 LP Version) HQ....
@oldmanghost219 The one you suggested is great, I enjoyed this one just as much. Maybe further down the line , Mia can react to the one with the poem.
They had another beautiful song from the same album called ... Tuesday Afternoon. The moody Blues were also know for their "Moody" stuff like rain and thunder and wind. A great example is .... Procession & The Story in Your Eyes - The Moody Blues... They have to be together.
Mia you should do some CCR or Marshall Tucker Band
One of their best songs . They have whole albums that take you to far away places .
The girl he wrote this about was told the song was about her. She went to him to ask him if it was true. They have been together ever since. ❤😊
God's hand was on music over those decades. He was trying to bring love out into the world for people to embrace it and deliver it.And I think that's why so much of this music? Was so beautiful and timeless.
I've seen The Moody Blues in concert 3 times. Other great songs are Tuesday Afternoon, Twilight Time, Your Wildest Dreams, The Actor, Ride My See-Saw, You And Me, and so many others.
I'm so Jelly😢😊
@@dalenikolitch4627 They did put on a great show.
Most beautiful unrequited love song in Rock history. Masterpiece!
Yes❤
It's one of the sadest gut wrenching songs ever written. I can explain it to you if you want.
It wasn't unrequited. Fifty six years and going strong.
You have to hear the version with the poem. You need to understand the amount of great music we had in the late 50’s 60’s and 70’s it was unreal.
The GREAT British Invasion! The Greatest two decades of music! The 60’s and 7o’s, and a tip of the hat to the 50’s as well! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That's exactly how I felt when I first heard this song on the radio in 1967. Epic song, amazingly talented band. I hope you get to see the live version of this song when they played with a full orchestra at The Royal Albert Hall (I think in May, 2000). That should be your next reaction with the Moody Blues.
Mia, I'm glad you like them. They are definitely a vibe. His voice is so good.
I LOVE Them Doc Lol This Was Definitely An Amazing Rock Ballad ♡
This Song is as old as me.I Think this masterpiece has aged better than I have .1967 the summer of love. Beautiful reaction my love ✌️✌️🇬🇧😎
There’s a more recent video of this Live with the orchestra! BEAUTIFUL
the instrument is a mellotron..it was a keyboard with recorded instruments..one spool a note.. it was very complicated and fragile to move..
Such an amazing song in so many ways!! The emotion it brings upon you is intense!! I get chills every time!!
For one of the most beautiful compositions of music Legend of a Mind by the Moody Blues. Halfway through will bring you to another plane withe the flute and strings...
Mia great reaction as usual so glad to see you react again you've been missed queen love the faces of enjoyment as you listen really wish music like this was made still today but its not thats why they call them timeless classics because no music these days compare to music of yester years keep up the great work Mia you're going places
You have to check out one of the librations of this song. When they had the full orchestra, the libras in also an extended version.Once you listen to one of those on death or Wanted to Go back. They are so beautiful and the orchestra is just out of sight.
Beautiful song & beautiful reactor 🥰 yeah i agree, The UK Concert Hall version is awesome! They kill it in their older age plus they have a full orchestra!
Awe , Thank You Alexander . Very Sweet Of You To Say ! I Have To Watch The UK Concert Hall Version Now Bc I'm Hearing Too Many Great Things ☺
You're the first youtuber to mention my name! 🥰 You can call me Alex😃
Use to slow dance to this song. 1974.
This is the sadest most gut wrenching songs ever written. I can explain it if you want.
I saw them in concert as a teen. Amazing
studio version has the spoken word in it. check out the live performance with a full orchestra performed at the Royal Albert hall
This is a very beautiful song. Your reaction is also beautiful. Thank you.
I always take the time to listen to this song.
yeah ur rite, quality, modern classic, v band did vis live a few yrs ago, sugest u give it a try.
The Moody Blues were almost 2 different bands, with most of the same people. The original Moody Blues had lead singer Mike Pindar and had a reasonably successful hit song "Go Now", then Pindar left, the remaining members invited Justin Heywood (lead guitar vocals and song writing) and John Lodge to join them and this is the lineup in the video. Story is told that Eric Burden heard the band needed a guitar player and handed a mail sack of letters he received after advertising for a guitar player, first letter out of the bag was Justin Heywood
Go Now singer was Denny Laine, Mike Pinder stayed with the band until 1978.
Sound is a medium that can haunt. Even in your sleep. This one can get in your mind, and its beautiful.
Haha. You used the same word as me. Slapping us both on the back to be so correct. Haunting.
You should listen to the 'live' version from the Royal Albert Hall,it is the version with a full classical orchestra behind it!,The Moody Blues were at the forefront of the prog rock movement in the sixties & seventies, this track was a worldwide hit & featured on their first Album 'Daye of future passed' released in 1967!😊
Justin Heywood, lead and composer
Cool Blues.
The track was from their concept album "Days of Future Past", in which the songs take us from Dawn until the Night culminating with Graham Edge's "Late Lament". Each song glides into the next by means of an orchestral segue. This is a fine track - probably the most accomplished on the album - and has been released as a charting single (I think) 3 times. However, it's best heard as originally intended in the framework of the complete album...
Love the reactions in song and how you overlay in subtitles vs pausing often. You get it. Keep on keeping on!
I saw The Moody Blues in my city in 1983...they were great...and btw their opening act was Stevie Ray Vaughan...can you imagine that??
Your Life Is Golden David , That's So Awesome . How Cool , I Love Me Some Stevie Ray Vaughan ♡
Stevie Ray definitely tore it up 😎🎸
There’s another live video of this song where they have a full orchestra backing up the band. Here’s the link, th-cam.com/video/MjUqfRrWwcM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8FgPHamAf1e_jcKd Hope you enjoy it!
Loved it Mia! What a great reaction, and like I already said ...I Love your headset ...You are a true Pro!
Thank You Paul , And Yesssss I Love These Bad Boys Lol I Feel Complete As A Reaction Queen ♡
My Fav Love Song❤ Thank u😊
This song was released as a single 3 different times it is one of the best songs ever written
YAY!!!! You’re back!!! Missed your videos!!!
You had your stank face goin!!! So you know it’s good!!!
I like this song….like you said very haunting!!
Love your reaction!!!!
for a study in contrasts, listen to 'story in your eyes'.
‘Procession’ leads into ‘Story in your Eyes’. Both take you down the deep, deep Moodies Rabbit Hole 🎼
You will cry out loud if you hear Justin’s ‘Who Are You Now’, recorded with bassist John Lodge on their ‘Blue Jays’ solo album. 💙💙
Now you get to hear a mellotron, played by a master...
This made me think of in high school or jr high, watching Romeo & Juliet. It had that sound, and vibe to it. I like it. Great reaction Mia!❤
This Comment Sounds So Familiar Mike , Wow I Love How It Takes You Back In Time . Thank You , Love Your Feedback As Per Usual ♡
Hi Mia!! You are back!! I missed you! Hope to see more reactions.😀If you liked this, you need to react to procol harum- A whiter shade of pale, live, it's AMAZING!!
Another good song by them is Tuesday Afternoon, but do the long version.
You picked the wrong video pick the official live HD version In the UK concert hall which it is stunning and much better than the Paris version.
Oh No ! Thanks For The Heads Up Rob .
Actually the studio version with the London Festival Orchestra is the one that should be reacted to first
Try Procol Harum Whiter Shade of Pale live in denmark
For My Lady-live at red rocks
So druggy, so hippy. So great
th-cam.com/video/MjUqfRrWwcM/w-d-xo.html Years later, but so much better...
Wow im actually first here.
Oh Snap ♡
There's actually more to the song.
Hi Ms. Mia, Great song, wrong version.. ♠Mr.G..
The extended album version is better and has a lot more to it, including a very haunting poem at the end of the song. I got to see them perform this song live. Another song you should react to by them is a song called: New Horizons. If you love this song you will love that song.
You've picked the wrong version. The full version with the poem, and the live version are both wonderful, and well worth a reaction, both are much better than this ❤
This video is so lame…No MTV back in 1967. However, when MTV did arrive, the Moody Blues killed it with several awesome songs/videos.
