I have owned it for a few weeks now, and I can't speak to how they did it, but you can basically just pick it up and use it from the start. It is very comfortable to use, and you don't get any strain from it. The normal functions of a mouse are also very high quality, no issues! I love it. I have larger than average hands if you are wondering ;)

However, I'm afraid that if I get too used to this mouse, I won't be able to use any other mouse.
its doesnt have a trackball so do you have to move the mouse? at first I thought that maybe the wavy surface interacts somehow with your thumb but I guess thats not the case?

Hope this comes to Logitech Malaysia officially soon. On 11Street, it's priced at a whopping RM778, that's almost double the USD price! It's also the only place I can find it listed here in Malaysia...
Nice to see a big computer peripheral brand finally embracing vertical mice. Hopefully this will start a trend and we'll see more on the market now. Until now there's only been like one expensive niche brand and a bunch of cheap Chinese models and one good one by Anker.

If I contact Logitech they will tell me to use one of their cheap amber-dexterous mice or tell me that most left handers use right hand mice, so I should do the same. Come one Logitech it's 2018 options and choices are what people look for, put out a left handed mouse in this and the MX series.
So they should produce a horseload of mice just for minority left-handed people??? that doesn't make financial sense in capitalism. Go to church and ask for forgiveness.. God might make you right handed as nature should.
Ok, so, the next thing we need from Logitech is an upgrade on the Alto Connect for 13 inch Notebooks with a 2 C-ports and 4 USB 3.0 plus the Network/HDM/Display port/VGA connectivity. I would be satisfied with a free Alto and this mouse for the Idea at least. Thanks Logitech.
I have it for 3 months now. I'm 1,80 (5'10) I'd say normal male hands. This mouse still feels too big and uncomfortable. I purchased 3 models from amazon. The one that really fits my hand perfectly and has silent, but clicky buttons costs £15... Who'd know... I'm kinda disappointed though, because I watched this video before buying the mouse and I was like "yey they actually did ergonomics research"... On the other hand (haha) if you have enormous hands you might find it comfortable and enjoy the bluetooth and usb connectivity, which on itself is pretty cool. Another thing is built quality. I bought the mouse for £80. Doesnt have that premium feel to match the prices - actually it feels like there's something wobbly and detached inside. Bear in mind also that when connected via bluetooth there is a slight delay. I notice it, it's not a problem for browsing the internet or working with simple software, but not as precise as my workflow (CAD, Revit, Sliders on DAWs) require. I actually tried to return it, but Amazon told me I have to pay the delivery back, which was like a third of the price so I just kept it.

With the (logitech, incidentally) mouse I'm using at the moment, and most others, weight is distributed on the biceps, forearm, heel of the hand and the mouse top-surface itself. It is not ideal. There is no 'ideal' mouse configuration. Logitech hasn't produced anything significant here, except implying a "57º" tilt is 'vertical'. "truthful hyperbole" --Donald Trump.

That's the only mouse I use now. Very comfortable. I bought one more just in case it will be discontinued in the future.

i have this mouse. Yep could be a problem , once i person is used with with something good and comfortable , don't really want to switch back .
