I haven’t tried any of these products in your video…which is extremely rare since I get all my recommendations from you! After trying many many sunscreens I found the skin 1004 hyalu cica sun serum to be almost perfect for me, so I’m going to stop looking and stick with it! 😊

I recently strayed from Korean sunscreens and let me tell you: never again! The non K spf felt stinging and burning in my face, plus they felt heavy and left so much white cast 🙄. I don't know what possessed me to try other sunscreens, but to me there's simply no comparison.
I'm back on Korean sunscreens now and I'm using the other ones for my arms.
I know what you mean! It's nice to know what else is out there but at the end of the day comfort and elegance win out!

I've not used any of these, but Round Lab and Tocobo are two that are on my to buy list for sure. I never heard of the brand house of dohwa though
House of Dohwa has some nice rice based stuff, I really like their wash off masks too!
Was wondering if you use any kind of k-eye patches/creams or any recommendations?? Would like to see a video on that!
The Tocobo one burned my eyes a few hours after I put it on and I don't know why considering that others don't.
7:50 the House of Dohwa Sunscreen is super cute, but the tube packaging definitely still uses plastic on the inside layer, it's just 'covered' with paper😅by all means it does prob use 'less' plastic than your regular packaging
Yes sustainability is a much more nuanced topic than just 1 material is better than the other. I love that they make accessing the final bits of product a lot easier (and safer)!

I wonder how the House of Dohwa sunscreen compares to the original BOJ Sunscreen. Since the both have rice as a featured ingredient.
Very similar but dohwa is much lighter feeling because of the formulation!
I have few products that seem similar but I’m not sure which to choose and that they may make good this or that candidates.
1. Anua Heartleaf toner pads vs. Numbuzin No.1 Centella toner pads (or the regular toner version of each.
2. The numbuzin no. 5 vitamin concentrate serum vs. bubble daydream serum.
Each versus listed seems to have very similar ingredients lists and purposes.
Hmmm I haven't tried these so I can't say much. The anua toner is great so I assume the toner pads are the same!
I have to say you all are SLEEPING ON P.Calm water barrier sunscreen. It’s available on Corelle for 11$ right now which is a really good deal. I feel like if the p.calm spf had come out after BOJ it would be extremely Viral. It’s just like no other Korean spf I’ve ever used. It’s light but moisturizing and somehow dries down in the best way possible. I cannot put concealer over BOJ or round lab but with p.calm I totally can and it’s immaculate. It just hits differently than any others I’ve tried and I have a huge drawer full of Korean spf and have repurchasd p.calm more than any

I think Scinic is a little more moisturizing than Tocobo but both are excellent SPF's, and it's hard to beat the protection that Scinic provides!

Do you have any waterproof sunscreen recs? Sweatproof and good to use at the beach.. Most k sunscreens ive tried melt under the strong european heat hahaha

Eco friendly… except it has a Plastic cap. Paper is good, but then environmentalists are screaming about how many trees are cut down.
Sustainability isn't a black or white issue, no one material is either the answer to all our issues or the worst possible choice (e.g. how glass is actually less sustainable than plastic). It seems more sustainable plastic and better infrastructure for processing and reusing these material is a promising way forward but I'm all for finding alternative routes too.
i thought u were sensitive to fragrance?
I'm sensitive to essential oil and most fragrant compounds. Artificial fragrance is usually fine for my individual skin but I don't routinely speak about products with it.
