This Ferrari Dino 208 GT4 Is Beloved By Autodromo's Bradley Price

- The Ferrari Dino 208 GT4 is a unique car. Overshadowed by its bigger brother, the 308 GT4, the 208 was originally created to skirt under the Italian tax levied on engines above two liters. What the 208 GT4 lacks in displacement it makes up for in sound and style. For Bradley Price, designer and owner of Autodromo, the opportunity to acquire a practical "super car" of the '70s with its famous wedge styling was too hard to ignore. After a year of ownership, Bradley can consistently be found escaping the city and revving the sweet-sounding V8 along the roads and hills of New York.

"I always feel really happy with what I have". This is what everyone should live by, and not just with cars.
Beautiful marriage of images, music and sound with a terrific commentary piece from the owner. More of these please Petrolicious.
god put a sock in it man...
Wrong car, horrific sounds, and sub-par audio / video quality......
Beautiful car , very underrated design. A classic in my eyes 😍
An undisputed TURD in the rest of the world's eyes.
I owned a dino 308gt4 for 25 years......fully rebuilt every part of it and thoroughly enjoyed doing it. They are a joy to drive, a car so advanced for its time, and one that still has a magic about it that is soooo lacking in today's cars that do everything for you. It brings you back to real driving.
I think this video is very well put together, the story, the car and the piano tune, sounds to me very nostalgic 😭
This channel is gold
Such a beautiful presentation. I was unaware of the 208 GT4 and its 2 L engine. This video and this owner remind me of myself and how I view special cars like this with heart and soul. I am not a guy who has to have the most powerful car or the newest. This car and everything he says about it and why he is so happy with it whether others are impressed or not shows he is a true car aficionado. The only one who needs to love one's car is oneself. This guy gets it.
these shows sincerely need to be longer. I love everything you guys are putting together. I just want to live vicariously through these people for a little bit longer...
I've always loved this body. I don't know why it's so under-appreciated. I envy this guy for finding this car. And yes, even at 2L, it sounds awesome.
Bertone gets no respect from Ferrari fans which is sad. The wedge styling looks good to me.
Bertone AND Ferrari deserve no respect, period.
Michael Meliambro lmao
Overtones of the Stratos
totally agree with you!
Great video and seems like a great owner too. I never liked this model, but it really grows on me the older it gets. It seems to have very nice handling and it doesn't matter if it's fast or not. The small V8 has charme and I bet this car is a pleasure to ride.
I have a Daimler Dart (SP250) with a 2.5l hemi V8. Long live the small displacement V8's! Always good for a conversation
I was never aware of the two liter version until now. What a neat GT4!
Brad is a great guy. I got in touch with him a couple of years ago before buying my 208 GTB (1980) and offered me great advice.
My decision was mostly based on his feedback and now I am incredibly happy with my car, because what you need to understand is that inside these pieces of art pure acceleration and speed play only a minor part of the overall experience. Rather I can say that the 2.0L V8 sound is a lot more pleasant than the 308 3.0L’s. Certainly I’d love to have a 308 too, but the 208 in my experience is not inferior, it’s just different, with her own magnificent personality.
Its like the girl you met at a party you can't stop looking at, only to realize as you are getting a drink, she is with you.
Great episode. Understated passion.
Can't wait for next episode.
I drove one in the 70s. Beautiful and FUN drivers.
2.0 liter V8 - crazy! These videos rock! Please keep them coming.
Wow, once again very well done. Every single one of your works creates an own atmosphere that it keeps throughout the whole video. The shots fit, the scenery, the music, the editing. It keeps its very own feeling.
Great vid, I just acquired a 308 GT4 two days ago. A fine example of the art. The new/old XWX Michelins are worth the price of admission.
I think it does sound better as a 2 litre.
probably because it is a short stroke V-8
@@TheMentalblockrock it’s actually sleeved down from the original 308, so it’s technically a long stroke engine
Birth of Incredible Italian beauty 🖤
Beautiful tribute to a lovely marque. Thank you, Herb Greenwood
Another mini-masterpiece! Thanks, Petrolicious.
By the way: again, a wonderful video! Nice images, great sound (car & music). Thank you!
Goat trail! Back home in the Hudson valley. Great roads. Also 211 is another great one great car and a great video
Thank you please keep this videos coming. Petrolicious the best car videos!
Although I prefer some other Ferraris from this era- particularly the 275 GTB and the 246 Dino- this car is immaculate. Classic stuff.
Great colour
summing it all up once again - lovely
Thank sou for this beautiful production! Car & owner are wonderful!
Mr. Price, I think you're a very cool gentleman. You look very good in your beautiful FERRARI. Alfredino (Dino) was the very beloved son of Enzo. For that reason alone a Dino = Ferrari.
I'm so glad to see you drive your car in the spirit it was intended to: full throttle. I wish you tons of happiness.
A fellow Ferrari driver. ;-)
Nice video. You can feel the passion!
THIS is a truly, truly beautiful video. Fantastic.
RIP to this beautiful road
Great video, great car. Thanks for the upload:)
Thanks again for another little piece of Art. (Film and Car).
So professional. Impressed, well done.
This car has to be the "Porsche 924" of the Ferrari range.
Loved this episode
Visually well-balanced design. Seen in person the low overall height is striking. The sound is thrilling. The cost of the car is moderate, but the price of admission is just a drop in the bucket compared the expense of ownership.
The best Ferrari is any one in MY garage.
well put
The BEST Ferrari is one in the impound lot.
As always a great video, I love the part where he says he keeps it out of the city.
I love this video, thank you for posting & sharing your passion with us. Yes folks, you can still purchase a 30+ year-old Ferrari/Dino for less the millions all the 60's Ferrari cars are selling for at the auctions......sure it's not a 67 275 GTB4, but hey give it time and someday these forgotten unloved 70's Ferraris will be desired at the auctions....just give it time.
Um dos melhores vídeos que já vi, dá para ver o sentimento pelo carro, acabei achando o vídeo porque uma 208 gt4 foi a leilão em Brasil
On days like these...
No no no Bradley, there is nothing "perverse" - as you mention at minute 4:44-, in put your "jewel" in the outside of traffic or cities and drive through there in another most common car! This is the ONE & ONLY common sense to enjoy and "exercise" properly your personal priced property like this one you have.On the contrary, CONGRATULATIONS for this centered vision of the proper use of a "personal Interest" machine.
I wish you many years of enjoyment from your car. You have a great attitude about it and an obvious love for the aesthetics of it as much as the marque itself.
I was convinced this was an IMAX film. Well done, I am now subscribed.
This guys gets it. He understands what more enthusiasts need to; be happy with your car and not wish you had someone else's.
Thank you - another excellent video. Life aim = to be featured!
great car and as always you have done a great job on the videography
A beautiful timeless design.
awesome video as always
This is my favorite Ferrari of all times. I am part of a very small minority I know but love the 308 GT4
first video from this channel I watch, I am now a new subscriber.
I wish the channel would set up a car meet for all the fans - would love to hang out with people like this.
A Beautiful Dino
A very Nice ferrari! Love the Lamborghini like design of The dino. For The ones who say this is not a real ferrari know that this is a rare dino and that Will pay out in the end!!
Like everyone else here I think you guys from PetroliciousCo for making these awesome videos for us fans, but I would like to thank Bradley for sharing his "Petrolicious" feelings with the world (us). Thanks!
agreed! if these videos were each an hour I'd watch every minute.
Great video- cars are made to be driven
the small displacement and large number of cylinders enables it to rev more than the 3.0lt engine version that is why he says that the engine has a sweeter note that the 3.0lt engine. So if your used to american v8s and there sound it is because of there larger displacement they make a low tone burble sound.
I love the yellow one. Awesome car
"best looking Ferrari ever" says no-one but me...
Beautiful Dino Bradley!! Currently 'pricing' the market for a 208 GT4......we'll see if I can 'work it' into my budget.......
This guy is a legend. His time pieces are immaculate.
Fantastic video! You guys are good
I had a 1975 308GT4 and traded it for my Countach 5000QV... I so miss the 308GT4... had GTS QVs and Maseartis and ALFAs and currently Abarth 500... but still want my GT4... hold on to it...
Sweet video and car
Bear Mountain Parkway
Rt 301
Taconic State Parkway
Saw Mill Parkway (I think)
Gorgeous!
Well done
Nice job
i drive that road nearly every week :) great car
Love the vid but I especially love the part starting@ 4:20. This is what motoring is to me:)
Muy bueno. Como siempre.
Intro reminded me of the Italian Job intro with the Muira driving through the Alps.
Great video, really picks out the good points of the 208 GT4. It sounds much sweeter than a 308 GT4 and with the narrower wheels feels lighter on the steering.
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL
Omg those roads look beautiful! Can someone tell what were the roads this was filmed on? I wanna take a drive out to a great road and please help.
It's like the Stratos with extra seats. Gorgeous
Was a passenger in a Dino 308 GT4 a few days ago :)
Thanks @ghibli608!
What song is?
oh wow this car is similar in design to the lancia stratos, both beautiful cars.
Nice car and top guy.....
don't listen to him mate your ferrari is one of the best .. it can be used every day and still bring that smile to your face ;)
Overcrowded cities like New York aren't meant for cars.
+Sebastian m (alpine1600s) Agreed. Meant for pedestrian traffic.
@@corvusala and public transportation.
Neither are they meant for god-awful Ferraris....
@@michaelmeliambro5117 idiot comment.
@@VL1975No more idiotic than ur FACE......
!Perfect!
Great video as usual, how and why aren't you guys on HBO doing a 1/2 hour car show?
That's most important, to choose carefull and feel happy with what you own.
I'm going to rescan my vocabulary after watching this and omit the word "like". Beautiful car and beautiful video otherwise.
STOP MAKING ME SO EMOTIONAL ABOUT CARS
You're right Bradley, I stand corrected. I indeed went too far and I offer my apologies.
Automobile enthusiasts sometimes get pretty heated about different marques. At the end of the day, however, we all share the passion, the history and the tradition of all things automotive.
If I'm ever in NY I'll look you up, I will admire your car and I will buy you a beer.
I love this channel but there seems to be a lot of Euro cars featured here (which is fine, I drive a Bmw) but I would love to see something like a vintage Corvette. I'm sure there are plenty of proud owners who would like to be featured. (A 1969 small block is what I'd love to see). Good work!
I am sorry but the wedge cars have a face only a mother could love. Nothing like the earlier, or later even, evocative rolling shapes of Pininfarina. But I can see this guys appreciation for it.
amazing
Drivers car , pure passion.
what road is that? Delaware water gap?
Back at the time the phrase "here ladies snd gentleman ee present to you the future ...." and looks like the design was the way to go. Lotus took ot very seriously presenting the clever Elite Type 75 designed by Oliver Winterbottom who had begun his carreer with Jaguar befor moving to Lotus and who layer penned also the wedge TVR of same period.
Was that filmed at Storm King mountain in NY?
Jeez these videos are well done! Serious professionalism in then. These short, but sweet, videos are better than the majority of crap Hollywood have vomited onto the big screen in the last ~5-10 years.
Amazing stuff guys, bravo and keep up the excellent work.
I've always loved the Ferrari 208/308 GT4's even though they're not the quintessential "Ferrari".
Jason, if you ever get the chance to spend an hour or two... or as many as possible, behind the wheel of either of these very special understated cars, you won't give a hoot what anyone else thinks about them. I've never seen a 208 GT4 personally but I've spent many hours in a 308 Dino GTB4. I just couldn't care less what someone else thinks about it. A mid-week drive up CA Highway 1 from San Francisco to Eureka (when there's minimal traffic!) will convince you that you're driving one of the best handling, most unassuming sports cars you could ever find. They're not outrageously fast but if the road is reasonably crooked, you will give the "hot rod crowd" fits and I've found that to be most entertaining!! I've had people stop after blasting away on a straight section and wave me over to ask, "What the hell is that??!" The difference has always been that they may have the brute horsepower to pull away on a straight, but I rarely touch the brakes. I'd always catch them in the corners. That is fun! 😇😁
Good to see that this car is driven in open roads and enjoyed, this car and others like it have no business being in a city
