Hello Mr Hitoshi,My wife was in dependent visa before. She has completed her Secondary level (Chugakko), Intermediate level(koko) and her Bachelors level(Daigakko)from japan. In 2023 it will be complete 10years that she came to japan . Now currently she have working visa with her. When she will be able to apply for permanent resident please?
As said in the video, students have less income since they are allowed to work only for 28 hrs a week. It means to change the visa into a PR for the students is difficult.
May I know the salary is based on the job I am having in my country before coming to Japan, or I need to secure a job in Japan first based on which the salary is calculated?
Sir If completed MBA in india through distance and part time courses, it will be considered for high skilled visa points system while applying visa for japan?pls let me know
Sir, I have a skilled worker visa. I applied for permanent residence for me and my wife a year ago. I couldn't get both visas because of my wife. Can only husband re-apply now? can i get advice please sir?
Hello Mr Hitoshi, It will be a complete 9 years for me to be residing in Japan on coming April and a complete 5 years of being a working visa holder working for a same company for past 5 years on April 2021.I am currently working as a manger (店主)at my office and my wife has a separate working visa and works as an English Teacher. So , Am I eligible to apply for PR on coming April as It will be a complete 5 years of being a full time worker and complete 9 years of residing in japan but not 10 years?
To be honest, I am starting to think Japan will fail economically in the future. They are a little bit too strict about things that ultimately won't matter if the infrastructure is slowly crumbling due to lack of workers. In addition, they are trying to increase the birth rate, but it takes 20 years and lots of money to produce workers from infants into adults, whereas immigrants are instantaneous (provided they can speak, read, and write Japanese).
Sir, in India i am completed diploma in mechanical engineering full time. B.E and MBA completed through part time.have 9 years experience. Bachelor and master degree part time courses will be considered for points system or not?
Why is Immigration Office including a person's annual salary as a student with a student visa that does not allow him to work more than 28 hours a week and even worse, he can't breach the 1 100 000 - 1 200 000 yen? Why would you include that when it's impossible to earn more as a student? Doesn't that contradict itself? By the way, thank God that there is a person like you who explains all this mess in English, thank you, Sir. I hope you're having a good day. Stay healthy
Sorry, to acquire PR on this fast track, we need the highly skilled visa for at least 1 year, isn't it? Why do you say highly skilled visa isn't prerequisite? Thanks in advance.
→we need the highly skilled visa for at least 1 year, isn't it? No. Even if you do not have it (HSFP), when you have points, you can apply for PR directly from your current status.
Your explanation was so helpful. Thank you.
Hitoshi san, thank you very much! This video is very helpful.
Very nice!
Hello. Is the annual salary rule which you mentioned still applicable?

The government is probably aware of this, and is simply trying to attract rich foreigners.
