Sega could do a game that revolves around Dimension hopping, where it's revealed that Sally & all the SatAM/Archie exclusive characters live in another Dimension outside the Sega Sonic Universe, and they fight to save their world from an evil scientist who is like the Robotnik from SatAM but is not just another Eggman, he doesn't even have to be Human, when the dimensions begin interacting, Eggman teams up with the Wannabe Robotnik to take over both their worlds, only for the Wannabe Robotnik to betray Eggman in the end & become the final boss, Sonic & Friends could work together with Sally & the freedom fighters to save their worlds, Sally could even be a playable character, and at first Sally could find Sonic confidence & positivity to be annoying, but later comes to respect him for the hero that he is, whether or not they develop a romantic attraction to each other would be left for the Fandom to interpret, it would be a nice way to bring Sally into the video games, but not have her be fully a part of the video game universe.
Honestly, I wonder if a part of Sally's fandom has to do with the fact her and Sonic's romantic relationship presents her as a same-age girl that he's chasing, in contrast to how Amy Rose is presented as a preteen girl chasing after a thoroughly disinterested Sonic. I like both characters, but I have to concede that Amy's backstory is kind of set up to make fans not take her seriously as a love interest.
To be fair, just like Sega of Japan initially set Amy's crush not being taken seriously they also didn't consider Sally as a legit character either. They even stated Sally felt like Amy rip-off to them. So Sally's fandom has nothing to do with that, it's just that Sega never cared for romance in Sonic and never gave Sally a chance to appear in anything beside SatAM and Archie comics
Princess Sally Acorn is always my favorite character from sonic the hedgehog satam also the archie sonic comics and she loves sonic the most. 😀👍🐿

Did you know a fan team of animators are bringing sonic SatAM a season 3?
I wouldn't really call her one of the most fandom beloved Sonic characters as there's always huge fights whenever she's even slightly mentioned. Just look at all the drama that has gone over a figure, a freaking FIGURE of Sally that still hasn't been made after year and a half. She's certainly the most popular side character, but there are still a lot of folks who despise her.
