Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 26DEC2024

This California Zephyr #5 made its station stop in Fort Morgan at 0604 MST (19 Min. late). The power was from P42 #157 and P40 #824. They brought the 8-car consist to a stop with car 7 to the parking area platform for 4 detraining passengers (including 1 in a carrier). There was 1 new patron who boarded car 7 for the ride west.
With the station work safely completed, Joe gave the high ball. On an approach-diverging signal at west Ft. Morgan CP, the Zephyr departed for Union Station in Denver.
