At some point you get it right with a manager. You just have to keep trying. You can’t get rid of all the players at once. The scapegoat is unfortunately always going to be the manager. If there is any slight of progression I would have agreed with you, but with more players coming in that he wanted and the style of play is still bad, well it’s really on the manager.
Its always so much focus on the manager. I think it has to do a lot with the backoffice as well. Look at the Newcastle documentary and how they turned around things.

Man Utd are simply not good enough. Mainoo, Antony, Ahmad, Rashford, Garnacho, Hojlund, Zirkzee...those are either young players or consistent starter for Man Utd. Someone like Mainoo, at best, would be used like Man City use Rico Lewis, not a guaranteed starter, but promising to be a contributor. He's an automatic starter for Man United. Even with a new manager, I don't think United can finish higher 8th.

@@auhmav04 I didn't say he would as I was more referring to a manager, but the truth is that Chelsea was in a bigger crisis than United was and yet they're kinda doing okay now after relying on Palmer. Whether or not it's sustainable is a different story, but if it is, it does make you wonder if having a top talent who can dig you out of games is able to give the team the confidence to play better
