    Best things to do in seoul!
    1) Eat korean food especially Kimchi and Korean fried chicken
    2) Party! great night life especially at Hongdae district
    3) Visit the Seoul Tower
    4) Korean BBQ is a must!
    5) Shop and buy cosmetics!
    We are now in South Korea! We left Tokyo Japan and decided to spend a few days in Seoul, where we found lots of amazing korean food and street food. South Korean is in a lot of controversy because of all the news coverage around North Korea,
    We flew from Narita Airport which is about a 40 minute express train ride from Tokyo Station. We got to go and relax at the star alliance lounge before we left where. The star alliance lounge at Narita was one of my favourite lounges I have visited. They had a lot of food options and a restaurant where you can order fresh noodles! They also had great facilities like showers and massage chairs to relax.
    The flight was quick and we landed in Seoul Incheon airport that is located about 1 hour express train ride away from the main station in Seoul called Namsan station.
    We purchased an express ticket for the AREX at Seoul Incheon airport and the train took us straight to the downtown station. We stayed at the four points sheraton which was connected to the Namsan Seoul station which was very convenient!
    Seoul is the capital of South Korea and there are many unique districts where you will experience the beautiful culture of South Korea.
    For dinner we decided to visit Itaewon 이태원, 梨泰院 which is a district filled iwth expats and immigrants from all over the world. You can take the subway to Itaewon station where you will find a ton of restaurants and clubs for a great night out.
    For dinner we found a Halal restaurant called Eid Halal Korean Restaurant which serves authentic Korean food. This place is really popular among muslim tourists so make sure you get their early before the food runs out!
    We had a kimchi stew with Tuna which is called KIMCHI JJIGAE 김치찌개. This is a great dish if you are not use to eating Kimchi and you want to try the flavors of Kimchi. The next dish was Bulgogi beef which was amazing! The beef was so tender and it tasted amazing. The last dish we ordered was a sesame glazed chicken. All the orders come with unlimited rice and kimchi salad.
    After Itaewon, we decided to go visit the Hongdae district where Hongik University Street (홍대) is located. This is a great place for some nightlife, There are a lot of young students and people out where you will find great street food and street shopping for a cheap price! We also found an Etude House cosmetic store where we bought some Korean facial masks!
    Hongdae/Hongik is the hipster area of Seoul where a lot of young people are out exploring clubs and unique cafes. Really recommend this place at night for some shopping and fun people watching! K Pop is everywhere! A lot of K pop culture, music, and fashion that you will find here.
    We are excited to start our journey in Seoul South Korea and can't wait to sure more of our travel vlogs

      Yusuf Ibrahim Yes i watched ur other vidoes as well. It was great ^^. I read that you are coming again to Korea. I hope u enjoy next visit as well. Consider visiting Jeju island and i strongly recommend you to get a free tourist booklet from Tourist information centres, it has many useful information. I went to Naksan park, with walls from dongdaemun to hyewha its nt well known to tourists but should visit during night, it offers beautiful night scenery. I see you havent been to Jamsil, where lotte world tower and amusement park is and dongdaemun. Should visit one day as well.

    Nice video, You got to climb Korean mountains they are such beauties so different from others and the hiking courses are well designed and can be approached from in almost everywhere. In Seoul, try the Bukhansan!
    Don't forget also, the biking trails. One of more memorable one is the Seoul to Busan trail it's well over 85% unbroken, much of it is, very safe "bike only trail" and paved all the way from Seoul to Busan the southern most tip of the Korean Peninsula. Check it out, the course is breathtakingly beautiful!

    • @YusufIbrahim
      @YusufIbrahim  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      CT K wow those are amazing tips! I noticed in Korea everyone loved nature and being active there are a lot of hiking trails. We did a hike up to Seoul tower and so many people where doing the hike :) I definitely want to see busan! Thanks for the tips. Any food recommendations ?!

    • @Inchonseoul
      @Inchonseoul 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yusuf Ibrahim ; Thanks for your reply, as for food recommendations try Bosam meat, it's steamed pork eaten rapped in lettuce with bit of Korean sauce, really good ! The other delicious food would be cold noodle soup eaten usually in the Summer season called (nang myen). That'll let you forget the hot weather. Enjoy your stay in Korea. Best wishes!

      Sorry for late respond. If you still in Seoul, go to national museum near the palace, go Namsan Tower, take a Han River Cruise, Get out of Seoul - go to Busan by taking KTX (bullet train), go to the mountain near Seoul or Busan. Have a wonderful amazing remarkable trip.

      We just did Namsan Tower! It was so much fun, we climbed all the way up from the stairs to the top. We also did the Han river cruise like you said. We will do the Palace and national museum next. Where should we eat!?

    • @frankr7777
      @frankr7777 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am glad you climbed all the way up and still alive, haha.....Actually the national museum is called The War Museum. It will take least 4 hours to see all. # 1 recommended place among the tourists.You can go Insadong (old Korean stuff selling town), Bukchon (the town where old Korean houses and people still live there), Noyangjin Fish Market to eat sea food, Everland (like the Disneyland and San Diego Zoo combine) or go to the Lotte building (# 5 tallest building on earth).Please go to hiking and go to Busan. Check Halah Food info on site. The country has many Halah food restaurants.You can walk around 2 a.m. and still safe. Wherever you go it will be totally different experience.Have a fun and enjoy.

    • @YusufIbrahim
      @YusufIbrahim  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ariodito 22 Hey! So I can give you a few recommendations based on the different areas you want to stay in. I would say stay at a hotel beside the main Namsan station which will connect you to all the places. We stayed at:
      Four Points Sheraton Namson - this is Hotel is located right above the main subway station and can take you to the airport by express train or to other parts of the city with th me subway.
      L7 Myeongdang - this is a cool boutique hotel close to myeongdang where all the shopping and street food
      Ocloud Gangnam Hotel- another boutique hotel but located in Gangnam if you want to stay in Gangnam. I don’t recommend staying in Gangnam cause it is far from other areas in Seoul.
      Conrad Seoul - if you want a more expensive hotel this is a great one
      Bibimbap Guesthouse - if you want to try a traditional house this is really cute
