The AKC (American kennel club) calls the matting hair of the Bergamasco breed Flocks! They’re called flocks. Finally my veterinary knowledge is used for fashion!
Idk. It does look more like mats (straight hair/fiber) than locks (textured hair) to me. When crunchy white ppl do freeform mats, I've heard them called Grinch fingers. I kind of adore the concept of a glamorous black icon wearing priceless couture Grinch fingers. Burning man could never. Lmao
@@AndromedaChace Given the amount of likes and a couple of comments I’ve received, yur pretty alone with your hot take. Locks or locs can come in all textures so idk why you pulled out your texture expert hat as people tend to do online. Cardi B was obviously doing a huge homage to African aesthetics as is her brand, obviously highlighted by looks like the JpG body suit and exquisite wig. It’s just a wild guess but I think Cardi B chose to wear that coat in Anti AC Paris during the summer because it was and is an homage to locs as filtered through Cardi’s eye and not just some bland nod to a sheep dog (and how many times have you seen that dog iconically drawn with a crocheted hat or next to a Rastafarian man in a matching outfit).

Seersucker or railroad stripe is a thin, puckered, usually cotton fabric, commonly but not necessarily striped or chequered, used to make clothing for hot weather. The word originates from the Persian words شیر shîr and شکر shakar, literally meaning "milk and sugar", from the gritty texture ("sugar") on the otherwise smooth ("milk") cloth.
I think a lot of celebrities who are taking a break from their careers, are getting more into fashion. I think it’s an easy way to stay relevant. They pay hard working stylist and makeup artists and complete the assignment by just showing up and getting photographed. I think it’s super interesting because in fashion, they can do the bare minimum but is more appreciated because they can afford the luxury of expensive fashion.
I LOVE the Valentino body suit on Cardi- I absolutely love the jacket, heels, and the fact that the pants end just before the top strap of the heels. Never mind the white nails- everything just compliments her skin tone PERFECTLY and it’s absolutely gorgeous to me. A lot of thought went into it to compliment every tone- same with Lupita and the purple. Stunning! This is just from a wearability perspective and not from your perspective from a fashion POV. Emma’s skirt silhouette looks more like shorts, so I actually like the shape as shorts. Masie’s corset- with a different bottom and more focus on the top, I would love it. It’s a unique pattern that pops with the black outline. I would really like to see more of it.
I agree with you, in every single aspect, not a big fan of TB tho. Abuot Masie' skirt is meh... And that Hector bag only appeals US market I suppose... >_>
One thing I love about your channel is that you are very good at controlling what you intend to say. With the Italian Sheep dog, anyone else might have said it matts up to resemble dreadlocks. I like your "toe around", because it shows how good your word play is.
I liked what Diane Keaton was wearing, too but I was trying to figure out why Shakira had a cowboy hat attached to her coat (29:01) until I saw the "N" attached to the other side of her coat...I couldn't have kept a straight face wearing it. (I'll take the post-it note dress any day, lol)!

Really loving your videos! 28:40 Natalie Portman's dress though... there is actually a thread hanging off the hem? The way the hem falls looks like someone in the atelier (?) had a beer with lunch?? and the bodice is also WONKY. Uneven, puckery... Thank you, as always for a great video.
When you first showed Cardi‘s coat my mind immediately went to the pastore bergamasco!! Incredible referencing, the sketch also reminded me of the opening scene of 101 Dalmatians where the dogs and their owner all match, too cute 😍😍
I think why camila was in fashion week is cuz she just changed labels , she’s signed with interscope now and it looks like they’re really changing some things in her management , she’s sadly still with he same stylists tho , but one step at a Time

@lilliansanteix7117 late, but I agree! She brings energy and seems like she has a passion for her looks. I love how she's not afraid to go all out, and she usually pulls them off fabulously.
Bergamascos, Komondors and Pullis all have dreadlocks that start chording on there own they still need grooming to keep them from over matting it helps them blend into the sheep herd and protects from wolves. This was a public service announcement your welcome 😊

With Sag-Aftra going on strike (as of this comment) on July 14, there may be less red carpets and events to critique for a while. Still plenty fashion shows and wedding dresses out there.
I think the skirt at 25:35 isn't pleated with a lining, but the "pleats" are individual strips of fabric. Thom has been playing around with that technique for a while.😅 And Luke, wanna tell us what did you do to get hit by a rattan basket? 😂
I think people definitely are surprised to see Camila in the fashion world, but it kind of makes sense. She recently was signed to a new record label and PR agency. She was also seen having dinner with Anna Wintour/sat next to her at one of the shows. They are definitely trying to change your image and might be on the cover of vogue soon.

I've been getting into Kibbe style IDs and I love what you said about Lupita. The purple is absolutely in her summer season, but she's a soft classic-balanced with curve. The babyish effect is because the outfit is a very heavy fabric that flattens curve. The ultra short lengths would better suit a tall dramatic like Milla Jovovich or a petite flamboyant gamine like Zoe Kravitz. Lupita shines in lightweight fabrics and simple, classic lines that show her waist and moderate lengths. On the nose for Sydney Sweeney too. She's a Soft Natural which is a fresh and sensual ID. She needs relaxed softness. The ultra structured dress is too dramatic and heavy especially because its out of her season so she looks pale, stiff, and overpowered instead of intimidating and sexy. The sexy yet powerful effect could have been achieved with a grecian goddess vibe that still flows or a 30's esque Hollywood glam. Put the same dress and makeup on a dramatic classic like Olivia Wilde or a dramatic like Tilda Swinton and they would slay.
Kathy Hilton in Giambattista Valli has Rajasthani motifs (Indian state) Very much inspired by Indian art work but not sure if credits are given where due.

Dude, people still wear Dolce and Gabanna. Coco Chanel was a Nazi. There is no morals in fashion, at least the big, legacy fashion houses
because Hollywood is evil & populated by pedos..
find a fashion house or art movement that doesn't have problematic people/elements.
