    Love to see people doing stuff themselves. Even if it costs more than “a bought one” it’s better to be able to say “I did that”.

    i did see the first Turntable , but went out and bought a Lazy Susan off Ebay, not easy to use at 80 yrs old and also restricts having a bike which does not have a center stand. this second Video has opened my eyes, with this turntable I can have any bike that I want. I do intend to try and fit one to my Garage which will solve all my Problems, if you know anyone that would make and fitt this turntable creation would wilingly pay for this wonderful creation. with respect Bryan Medway

      OK Bryan, if I wasn't so busy I'd make one for you. But no time at the moment.

    Nice job well done mate, I like the reinforcing with the unistrut. Will build version 1 of mine this week. Just the board and a 12 inch lazy susan.

    great job, I haven't got the luxury of a wide enough drive way for one, I ride in to garage and then have to reverse bike out.

      Thanks Graham, I must admit I am quite lucky.... My drive is pretty big.

    Love it !
    If I had the skill and a better toolkit than my hammer, pair of mole grips and 2 adjustable spanners (1 metric, 1 imperial) then I might have tried this. Instead, I copied another youtuber and used a cheap lazy susan bearing and a precut circle of steel to build my turntable that the centre stand rest on. This enables me to turn My NC within the garage rather than the dodgy slope on the narrow drive.
    The only downside is I can never remember that the turntable is there when the bike is parked outside. These occasions , however, enable me to practice my dance moves as I try and fail to stay upright...

      Yea that's another way mate. I looked into that but wanted something I could just drive onto and off instantly. I'm lazy like that😊👍🍻

    I can see the orders for this thing coming in. An improvement on the first one. Ideal way to turn your bike round in your driveway. Perhaps you should it patented before some company uses it.

    • @exeterrider
      @exeterrider  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was going to sell them on Amazon but the shipping was a knitemare. Also patent I looked into for another business and it takes about 5k, 2 years and even then you have to take the people to court and pay if they try to copy it. Just not my thing as much as I would like to make them more. Nothing is easy these days . : (

    That's a good idea!
    Actually, I use the center stand for turning back.

      I wish my bikes had centre stands ! They seem to have gone out of fashion on current bikes.

    A good idea, 50% workable. But my low scheme cluster terrace housing really narrow walk in way to my house which the width alley nicely fit 1 way bike in and my house were at the back with that tight way, how to rotate 😊? Daily with stupidity, i have to reverse bike in.. pity me

      With a NC 750 weighing about 50kg more than that bike id rather not to be honest. They are heavy bikes. Thanks though
