I was born in Naples and have holidayed on the Sorrento / Amalfi coasts since I was a kid. I now live abroad and I miss them. Nice videos about my birthplace.
Nice! We had some very narrow roads at Amalfi aswel.. Going down to check a cool spot only to realise you have to turn around with the van because you can not go further.. Luckily we are not that big! But still.. felt like we were 4meters wide and 10 meters long sometimes haha. But it's all worth it when you reach the most beautiful coastlines! (If only to take a dip in the waters to wash away your cold sweat.. ;)) Enjoy guys!
Awesome drive and amazing views of one of the most beautiful coastlines worldwide. 👏👍 1:53 looked nice but a bit dangerous.😉 It is great to have a right-hand drive car driving in this direction, because the driver has a direct view down the shoreline.
This seems to be a very nice place, I hope I can visit sometime in when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Hi there! I have the same sprinter model as you have and - till I saw your video - didn't want to visit the amalfi coast because if the famous tight roads. of course, depending on the traffic (were going end of september) it should be okay, according to your video. would you do it again?
So this was during covid so it was exceptionally quiet, I still found it quite stressful. Busses drive the route and you’ll meet some coming the other way and wonder what on earth you’re doing 😫😂 I’m honestly not sure if I would do it again, I probably would but I’d be avoid peak hours of the day too, maybe drive in the evenings or very early mornings! From what I remember the campsites are very few and far between and not cheap.
@@surfreadjumpsleep Yes so we had our parents post some bits over from the UK to Italy via a DHL post office thing! Some other companies may do it now but we had no issues with DHL
Beautiful lemons and rainbow......Good tour, my friend.....Twelve
Thanks so much!!

What a beautiful drive! And we've never seen lemons that large. Wow!
They were so big! We saved the seeds and hoping to grow a little tree (definitely will not get lovely lemons with the British climate)

I would be afraid to drive that van because I'd be too distracted to drive by the beauty I'm seeing. WOW.

Driving on the right side has its benefits sometimes! It was such a beautiful drive
Very nice drive, spectacular!
By the way who made that nice song in your video where they sing ”hello Mona”?
Thanks!
Where can parking and sleeping on van?
You’d struggle on the coast, would have to be further inland and even then not easy. We stayed near Pompeii.
Wow amazing views! 😍
Thanks guys!
Aww miss the Amalfi 😍 glad I didn't have to drive it tho, good luck to you Joe 😂 some parts must have been tough 🚙
Yeah we had to stick to the main roads it was too tight in the van haha
Rather you than us drive on those roads. It is beautiful but scary. Wonderful video, we had forgotten how glorious that area is. Keep safe 🌈🙏👍
It is so beautiful! Next time we'll be doing it on a vespa!

Not very lucky with the weather were you 😅
Still very beautiful!
what time of year was this? TY
Hey guys, any idea how I can receive a package while I'm driving my camper van through Italy? Thanks so much!
We found DHL parcel boxes the best bet!
@@ItsOhJoe thanks. Is that something you pay for with DHL? And I suppose it only works if the shipper is shipping with DHL, which might be my case.

@@ItsOhJoe so you would pick up the packages at the DHL office? That sounds like a good idea.
Amalfi coast its so beautiful, sadly not so vanlifers friendly
100% agree, we’ll be doing it in a Vespa next time haha
@@ItsOhJoe exactly what we did, rented in Sorrento for cheaper price👍
Whoa. Those aren't lemons. Those are American footballs.
They were SO big!
What month was this?
January ‘21!
Great video guys 😁 we have just uploaded one too 😁
