Welcome to Damn Fast!💙 Today we have the 2021 Vespa Primavera Rosso 125cc on our show! In this video we take you on a beautiful drive around the Amalfi Coast.
The Vespa Primavera is one of the latest models of Vespa, with engines varying from 50cc to 150cc, we however drive the 125cc version with around 10,6HP. Perfect for the tight turns of the Amalfi Coast!! Speaking about which.... this is by far the best way to travel in Italy, especially in the crowded city centers and narrow roads such as the road between Scala, Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. Looks like so much fun! How is the parking situation in the towns?
Hahahaha well... TBH that depends on the town... In most towns and villages its no problem to park your scooter and you can just park it anywhere.. In Amalfi they are very strict and you pay around 10-20 euros for a full day of parking your scooter at the harbour. All locals have parking permits on their bikes and they are quite strict. Also in Positano they charge pretty high fees for parking, but we just put the scooters at the side of a road just outside of the center and that was fine (even better without the heavy traffic). Be careful tho for no parking zones, we actually got a fine of 27 euro per Vespa for parking on a square in Napels, we didnt see the signs and all... All in all I can really recommend driving a Vespa in the Amalfi Coast area, one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world!!! - Nicky from Damn Fast

I rented it in Naples, and then drove to our appartment in Salerno. The Vespas at this company were in very good condition! Normal price is about 50 euros per day

Hey! Do you think it’s worth to rent a Vespa on the Amalfi coast as a beginner? Or is it a bit dangerous?
Hey! Yes you can do it, but make sure to really pay attention in traffic in the napoli region. One of our friends in this video (on the older Vespa S) also didnt drive a scooter before and everything went well. Also try to use both front en rear brakes together, if you use only the front in case of emergency, you could slip and fall... The Amalfi coast is not to dangerous for driving!

Can two people fit on the 125cc Vespa ? What’s the weight limit
Yess easy, think the weight limit is somewhere around 300kg, e.g. 2 full size adults
can i ride it in italy with A1 ?
In Asia , we try to change Vespa into the best manner and also power, etc mix colors, put some accesories on them. In conclusion, Asian make it become a racing motorbike instead of normal vehicle
No gear, going above the speed limit (40km/hr where the sign says 20km/hr!) and sometimes riding without a decent space cushion? Ummm....
Hahaha I think you're kinda right. But be honest you wouldnt have a little fun on a red Vespa on the twisties of the Amalfi Coast? Everybody gets back to being a kid.... And in terms of gear, yep thats a risk! But on real motorcycles we always wear gear, have you seen anybody wear gear on a Vespa?😜 Still tho you're right! Do not try yourself, experienced driver😁
@@DamnFast Yeah, and the motorcycle riders always cringe and shake their heads when they see someone on a scooter with nothing on but a helmet. The fact is riding a scooter is just as dangerous.
Cyclists often go 30-40km/h with no gear, only a helmet - and often very close.
It’s a completely different game to be on a motorbike doing 130km/h.

I don’t know what you are used to. But I drove a Vespa 50cc for around 4 years and it’s great. And this one is even beter. So I think you would love it! 😄😍

CAn you just travel Italy with only speaking english? Also did you need an international license to rent and drive a scooter in italy?
Hii yes you can but a few words Italian or Spanish works best here. The further you go south, the less english they speak. We are European so we could just use our regular drivers license… If you are outside of the EU, you might need one
